Irish identity

The article identifies Hernandez as having Irish identity; however it doesn't seem to be substantiated. She was born in and has spent much of her life in California, with no connection to Ireland besides her mother's identity. Most sources describe her as "American" or as "Chicana," never as Irish. Unless a reliable source indicates she emphasizes her Irish identity, I propose changing it to American-Chicana or similar. Dan • ✉ 22:31, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
