"Second largest royal Chateau"? Versailles is much larger, I changed it to second largest.

"Cultural references"[edit]

I have removed this miscellaneous list of information which, imo, might be more appropriately located elsewhere, with links to this page, rather than the other way round.

Assessment comment[edit]

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Palace of Fontainebleau/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

This article has been given a stub rating owing to the lack of sources -- either primary or secondary -- and citation. The one citation concerning the tennis court is irrelevant with regard to the scope of the article. Additionally, there is need for editing to improve style and continuity withing the article.

As the château de Fontainebleau has been inscribed on the UNESCO world heritage a more deliberated article is needed as is a thorough restructuring of the article to meet Wiki standards.
