Missing entrance theme
[edit]He didnt use One of a Kind during parts of his WWE run. He used a song called Fury of the Storm by Shadows Fall. It's on WWE Wreckless Intent album and was used by RVD at some point. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Juniorlizard (talk • contribs) 02:10, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
Vandalism
[edit]There are several instances of vandalism that need to be cleaned up in the Indy section. Most notably his wins over Ned Flanders, defending the title against Rick Astley, and an instance of Big Bird. Those are the only three I caught. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.201.76.100 (talk) 01:27, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
Undefeated Wrestlemania Streak
[edit]I think it should be noted that RVD is undefeated in Wrestlemania, I mean he lost in the Sunday Night Heat segment, 5 mins before Wrestlemania XIX, which means that it doesn't count. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.2.105.89 (talk) 04:09, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
future
[edit]something about is current staus should be add like from 2008 as far as i no hes dissaperd since raws 15th annervercery special someone should find out what hes up to and add it please KCDavis (talk) 18:30, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not so sure about adding content for the sake of adding content. The fact that nothing has been mentioned can be inferred as whatever he has been doing to keep himself busy is probably not too notable. Hazardous Matt 18:43, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
Adding to Teaming with Kane (2003)
[edit]I think its notable that the reason Kane didn't like RVD is because he was the one that came up with the whole "Title vs. Mask" stipulation, as he admitted a week later on RAW to Kane himself. It would look a LOT better than "because Kane didn't like RVD".--Lord Dagon (talk) 15:12, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

It's not the future, it's been happening for a while, and it's notable, so it's not going to be taken out. ♥Nici♥Vampire♥Heart♥ 18:09, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

Kissing Ted Dibiase's Feet
[edit]Something that could be added to the article: Rob Van Dam's first appearance on WWF television was actually around 1987, kissing Ted Dibiase's feet for $100.

RVD Radio
[edit]Can someone please make this professional? He has a great new online radio show, but something nice needs to be written about it. Has anyone heard it? Someone told me that it was awesome! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.117.185.20 (talk) 03:33, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
"contraced to return in 2010?"
[edit]I took this part out because it had no source. I feel that something as significant as his proposed in-ring return date should have a source. It probably came from some wrestling rumor site anyway, which are horribly inaccurate...
Feel free to restore if you find a credible source for this. --BrettxPW (talk) 14:24, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
Return to WWE
[edit]It's confirmed he's returning tonight at the RR.

- LOL these not a reliable sources are turning up trumps rvd came in at #25 in rumble. He obviously is back with wwe when do they ever send non contract wrestler to rr needs new section citing 2009 return when he is seen on 1 of the rosters —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.241.246.63 (talk) 04:25, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
- well i watched the RR and im sure i saw him there--58.174.177.204 (talk) 06:50, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
- He showed up but that does not mean he is under contract or will stay for a long time.--WillC 06:52, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
- So let me get this right out of 21 rr you site 5 years and have two names nice attitude with your stupid post have you got a reliable source to back they were not contracted. The point being wwe contract policys are slot stricter due to health and saftey than 15 yrs ago why even mayweather needed insurance at wm24 rvd would not have not been able to be there by law get the legal facts. Ok on the other hand he may not be staying but who are you to state NO because of ur opinion if you read my comment corectly mr "5 rumbles" you would notice I said when he appears on a roster and if he is on raw tonight I'm gonna rofl at u! Ppl like u ruin wikis development and it's ppl like u who give false info because you think it's right. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.241.203.159 (talk) 15:59, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
- Your argument is about as valid as a Benoit toxicology report.... a list of non-contracted rumble entrants :
- Mil Mascaras, Latin Lover, Cibernetico, Pierroth, Tenryu, Goldust in 2002 (his performance resulted in him being offered a contract), Kitao, Shane Douglas, The British Bulldog (in 1991 whilst with New Japan). The point is, you're a dumb mark, a wannabe smark sometimes. You just got the knowledge knocked out by myself! Ricardo Rodriguez as Manager
[edit]On the last Monday Night Raw on the 19th of August 2013, Ricardo Rodriguez left Alberto Del Rio's side and aligned himself with Van Dam. Someone should add Ricardo as a manager in the proper spaces. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.54.237.252 (talk) 22:08, 24 August 2013 (UTC)
Polish ancestry?

Most Popular Wrestler
[edit]Rob Van Dam won this award in 2001 and 2001 alone but wikipedia has it as 2001 and 2002. In 2002, Steve Austin won the award. Please correct this 72.203.147.78 (talk) 05:31, 16 November 2013 (UTC)

Not sure if that should be added under his personal life or not. But I'm not comfortable editing wikipedia to add that. 2602:306:B81E:EE60:181F:5E74:C5F1:109 (talk) 15:51, 28 May 2016 (UTC)

Not a Triple Crown Champion
[edit]It says he is the fifth triple crown champion in the original ECW. How is that possible when he was only World Television and World Tag Team Champion there? As everyone knows, he wasn't the ECW World Heavyweight Champion. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 06:43, 25 September 2019 (UTC)

AEW Status
[edit]The article has been updated to read that he is signed to All Elite Wrestling, however there is no source to confirm this, he could be signed or could be making just a few appearances. It is misleading to say he is signed when no AEW announcement has been made nor has he himself confirmed it. Jayd313316 (talk) 00:53, 3 August 2023 (UTC)
