correct name?
[edit]Is it Rui Ramos or Ruy Ramos? Ondog 12:39, 14 January 2006 (UTC)
- Hmm, I always thought it was "Rui" because when I lived in Japan, that's how his name was always spelled in the English-language newspapers. However, his official site says it's "Ruy," so I guess that's what it is. I'll move the page to the right location then. howcheng {chat} 07:23, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
Thanks, I think I've figured it out now. I think Ramos name in Brazil is actually 'Ruy' but when he came to Japan and became naturalised his name was revamped with Katagana and thus 'Ruy' became 'Rui'. (since the word 'Ruy' does not fit into Katagana)
