The image is used for non-profit purposes. This factor is noted as relevant by the Act.
- The image is significant because it was made by a famous artist, Salyu.

bjork???
[edit]salyu sounds nothing like bjork —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mike12da (talk • contribs) 20:55, 22 January 2007 (UTC).
HI! it's not that she sounds just like bjork it's that her voice is similar to bjork, you know like people who enjoy bjork also seem to enjoy her voice, so shes like bjork where you wouldn't say she is like uh the dixie chicks or madonna, do you understand?
I agree with Mike12da; Salyu doesn´t sing like Björk. But because she (Björk) is the only trip-hop (or ethereal or whatever) artist many people know, they give that comparison that, honestly, is unfair to every female trip-hop (ethereal, ambient or whatever) singer, including Salyu. I won't edit that part of the article - I will leave that to the consideration of the ones who have created it. And personally, I enjoy Salyu's voice but I LOATHE Björk's voice AND music. Salyu has her own style, so as Björk has and so as every female singer has. Alras Sare 2007-03-1 T 17:46 UTC
The reference to Bjork is just far too prominent, being in the first paragraph of the page, as well as one of only three 'see also' links. while the fanbase of bjork certainly would enjoy salyu, i find it limiting to salyu to almost damn her solely to the attention of bjork fans. many of those who dislike bjork, such as the above poster, love salyu. i understand the reference, as bjork is iconic, however due to this, as well as -more importantly- the actual lack of close similarity in their voices and singing styles, the reference to bjork needs to go. 24.68.152.214 10:18, 5 March 2007 (UTC) nerdocalypso
- I removed the See Also links, they were irrelevant --Closedmouth 10:46, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
RE: Bjork??? et. al
Notwithstanding the delicious absurdity of your inability to discern that one's personal affinity or lack thereof for Bjork is neither necessary nor sufficient to determine the promiximity of her style to Salyu, I do find your logic of "If I think Bjork is "teh suck" then Bjork is not like Salyu" entertaining.
I only put that in there because in the movie Kill Bill when Uma is looking at the Samurai swords and they play one of Salyu's songs it really had an effect on me like totally emotional dude like whatever etc. in the same way I have got from the time of listen to Bjork sometime, similar sound, mood feel whatever and I wanted to define her music in a more meaningful way than saying "she pop singer. she sound pretty. just like sexyback justin timberlake. me love you longtime. me want to hug her and squeeze her and call her george".
Then I find all these other people blogged etc about how they think it too, so I DO like Bjork and her voice but whether or not you personally are a fan of Bjork is not relevant to a discussion of how similar or dissimilar the two singers are, it's ad hominem.
My point in using that heretofore debunked "similarity" as a descriptor was just to let a random unenlightened person know that Salyu might be of more interest to a potential listener who has even heard of Bjork or Squarepusher or Koyaanisqatsi than to an MTV troglodyte bent on attaining the next Dixie Chicks and Britney Spears and mass marketed corporate drivel bullshit opiate of the masses so prevalent in the music industry today before they drink the Koolaid. But that's all original research so take out the Bjork reference and put whatever you want in there, really.
The only reason I wrote the article was because I had that song from Kill Bill on repeat in Winamp for like 7 days and I was going crazy with it and then I watched All About Lily Chou Chou and I was just like "whoa dude" I can't believe nobody can explain to me why this great ethereal lilting beautiful (or whatever) song from Kill Billl is not on the soundtrack and what is this song and whom hath written it? How do I shot web?
Well I did a little original research in my effort to track down who was behind this song from Kill Bill and it turned out that it was some chick named Salyu who actually was a corporate setup but at least she was a Nihongo setup so it didn't really bother me because of my fetish for 日本 and I really wanted wikipedia to just tell me that it was Salyu in the Samurai sword scene of Kill Bill but of course it didn't so I figured I would make a page about her and include this information because that was what I was originally trying to figure out for my own greedy self.
I might ask the Kill Bill people or the Kill Bill soundtrack people if they could link to her in any discussion of the full score or whatever because I've found a few discussions on the intarwebs about all the great songs that are in the movie but not included in the soundtrack and that way if another lost soul such as myself watches Kill Bill and is enthralled by the scnene when Uma is checking out the swords in the sunfilled attic because of the music playing in the background and they go to the Kill Bill or Kill Bill soundtrack page there will be a link letting them know that the artist responsible for the mood of that great scene vis-à-vis her vocal and melodic contributory offerings is in fact a Japanese singer named Salyu whose music is [insert descriptive language of your choice here].
tl;dr
Take out the Bjork reference, the adjectives "ethereal" and "litling" and whatever else if you want to, I don't mind. I just wanted to describe her music with meaningful language, as distinct from slapping a label on it as the sole descriptor.
Etc. Etc. Ad Nauseum. Ad Infinitum. HEYPIG 15:45, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
HI HOW DO I WROTE THE SINGLES PICTURES SECTIONS WITH IMAGES
[edit]hi i would like to cruise control add the album covers of the singles and put them in table either with the same color squares fileds or contrariwise with different web colors. recruiting backup to see if any kind of link can be fenaglededd from the kill bill folks that talked about the soundtrack and how it does not include the song of slayu leeloo dallas multipass mul-ti-pass about the "wounds that heal" on the official soundtrack. plaise halp. thanks. this folder does not exist HEYPIG 16:10, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
