Talk:_Summer (video game)
Regarding the title of the article
[edit]The name of the game is _summer or "アンダーバーサマー", which is "Underbar Summer". Not "Underscore Summer". Omgwtflolz 06:30, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
Also, every non-Wikipedia sites, including every external links mentioned in the article, spell it with a lowercase "s." There must be something in Wikipedia policy that explains this discrepancy. —Tokek 02:12, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
- It was decided that Summer would be capitalized due to MOS:TM#Trademarks that begin with a lowercase letter: Trademarks rendered without any capitals are always capitalized. Due to constraints, "Underbar" was placed in the title of the article, but as you can see, this is not the case anywhere else in the article, where it is rendered "_Summer" due to this capitalization guideline.--十八 02:23, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

Underbar Summer → Summer (video game) – Initial underscores can be added to page titles using DISPLAYTITLE (for example, see _NSAKEY), but the page title in the database would then have to be Summer, for which this isn't the primary topic. So, suggesting move to a disambiguated title instead of one containing a technical workaround. Pppery 01:08, 4 November 2016 (UTC) --Relisting. Mildsupport. I'm inclined to think that even without the DISPLAYTITLE change, "Summer (video game)" is acceptable possibly per MOS:TM though it's a stretch. — Andy W. (talk) 16:46, 5 November 2016 (UTC)- GeoffreyT2000 This page can be moved as undisputed/unopposed. Don't think this needed to be relisted. Essentially, anyone could have arguably moved the page in the meantime — Andy W. (talk) 18:46, 11 November 2016 (UTC)
- Support. The existing name is confusing. – Jonesey95 (talk) 19:42, 13 November 2016 (UTC)
- I have moved the article and fixed the displayed title. Feel free to correct any mistakes I made. Pinging GeoffreyT2000, Andy M. Wang. The closing instructions are too confusing, so I'm going to leave this here for an admin to do the right way. – Jonesey95 (talk) 19:49, 13 November 2016 (UTC)
