Teen Titans Go! To the Movies
[edit]Is Teen Titans Go! To the Movies a Warner Animation Group film? The trailer for the film does not feature the WAG logo, and the source that lists the movie does not specifically say Warner Animation Group. 50.50.122.181 (talk) 02:00, 25 March 2018 (UTC)
Super Pets
[edit]An IP editor has been repeatedly deleting information about the DC Super Pets project without stating a reason. I invite them to give a reason here. Their edits are apt to continue being undone if that is not done. --Nat Gertler (talk) 05:08, 4 February 2019 (UTC)
- Materialscientist blocked 2605:6000:1609:C17F:F1FA:EE63:B7C:D36B, and 2605:6000:1609:C17F:21E8:7288:5A6A:4B2A evaded that block, so I did a short range block. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 03:19, 5 February 2019 (UTC)
- Having taken care of the problem editor, we're left with a question: is this film actually a WAG film? Neither of the sources we use for it say so, so it seems possible that it could be handled elsewhere, as Teen Titans Go! to the Movies was. --Nat Gertler (talk) 04:04, 5 February 2019 (UTC)
- It's difficult to find solid information on upcoming films. Sometimes trade magazines will track this stuff. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 04:30, 5 February 2019 (UTC)
- Lacking that information, should it be included? (Does anyone have IMDb Pro access?) --Nat Gertler (talk) 13:40, 5 February 2019 (UTC)
- The IMDb is not a reliable source. It's user-generated – including the paywalled content. On the other hand, sometimes industry professionals update the IMDb, so it can be useful in finding leads. If we can't find a source, I guess we should remove this entry. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 04:17, 6 February 2019 (UTC)

The filmography of WAG and why does it have a separate "List of..." filmography
[edit]I have to question the fact that WAG has its own "List of... films" article, when it's not big enough to deserve it. Also, the filmography section in this article already gives everything. Also, the "List of..." article doesn't mention the shorts at all.
I know, maybe this is the wrong place to ask. But what should be done? And if I want to do it, then how?
Sorry for bothering you all and wasting your time... Andrei Bondoc (talk) 05:01, 13 April 2020 (UTC)
Animation/Live Action
[edit]Could we try to hold a distinction between the Lego movies and Tom & Jerry? The Lego projects were mostly full animation with some live action sequences a la SpongeBob movies, while Tom & Jerry was a completely live action movie that incorporated animated character a la Who Framed Roger Rabbit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2603:9000:6C01:F33F:9189:655D:DFE6:77CE (talk) 04:58, 2 March 2021 (UTC)

Warner Animation Group → Warner Bros. Feature Animation – The studio was renamed in a reorganization in a recent article revealed in Variety. The page should be moved to the old page under that name.[1]

- This makes no sense. There is absolutely no information on the Variety article that Warner Animation Group is going to be renamed to Warner Bros. Feature Animation, as the "Warner Animation Group" is still used today. The Warner Animation Group name and logo are still used. Warner Bros. Feature Animation (1994-2004) is the successor to Warner Animation Group. The Variety article just called it "Warner Bros. Feature Animation" without the information that Warner Animation Group will be renamed. With the case of that studio, it still uses the Warner Animation Group name. VictorPinas17 (talk) 04:46, 4 June 2022 (UTC)
- Do NOT rename and move Warner Animation Group to Warner Bros. Feature Animation. VictorPinas17 (talk) 04:58, 4 June 2022 (UTC)
- In my opinion, overall, we should not rename "Warner Animation Group" to "Warner Bros. Feature Animation". VictorPinas17 (talk) 07:42, 4 June 2022 (UTC)
- This will never happen! Because Warner Animation Group will not be renamed to Warner Bros. Feature Animation. VictorPinas17 (talk) 09:07, 4 June 2022 (UTC)
- I concur with VictorPinas17 here, they did not announce anything about the name change 98.110.169.16 (talk) 02:08, 5 June 2022 (UTC)
- He's right. So we will NOT move the Warner Animation Group page to the Warner Bros. Feature Animation page. So please let me remove the box that says this:
- "A request that this article title be changed to Warner Bros. Feature Animation is under discussion. Please do not move this article until the discussion is closed." VictorPinas17 (talk) 04:07, 6 June 2022 (UTC)
- It's called "Warner Animation Group" and it's the successor of Warner Bros. Feature Animation, and it STAYS THAT WAY! VictorPinas17 (talk) 04:08, 6 June 2022 (UTC)
- @VictorPinas17: You stated your opposition six times, which is five times more than necessary. Please take a look at WP:BLUDGEON. Also, please do not remove the requested move notice from the article -- as long as this requested move discussion is open, a bot will automatically re-add it to the page even if you try to remove it manually, so you're just wasting your time. At some point, an uninvolved editor will close this requested move, assess the discussion, and implement whatever consensus emerges. At that time,
andthe notice on the article will be removed permanently. Please be patient until then. Aoi (青い) (talk) 05:26, 6 June 2022 (UTC) edited 20:55, 7 June 2022 (UTC)

- Strictly Oppose. No other source can be found (aside from a internet forum and a tweet, both of which are unreliable anyway) that says anything about this name change (not even the source you added in mentions anything about a name change too), and it could probably be a legal name for WAG for all we know. Plus, WBFA is the predecessor to this company so that makes no sense what so ever. CB (talk) 11:31, 6 June 2022 (UTC)

- so, are we set to rename? Jstewart2007 (talk) 21:21, 13 June 2023 (UTC)
- @Jstewart2007: Sure, unless you are non-admin page mover, with the page move of it needs to be unprotected first. This consensus is unanimous. 180.245.215.25 (talk) 00:52, 14 June 2023 (UTC)
- How do you close a conversation? The conversation has to close in order to move the page. I’m kind of new to editing Wikipedia articles, since I just started six months ago. Jstewart2007 (talk) 02:57, 14 June 2023 (UTC)
- Move discussions are typically left open for a full week before closing. This is not a requirement, but it is common practice. -2pou (talk) 07:18, 14 June 2023 (UTC)

Lack of updates for future films
[edit]Apparently there have been no more updates on upcoming WBPA films due to Warner Bros. Pictures focusing on live-action films. Is there WP:NORUSH for more reliable sources? The Media Expert (talk) 20:31, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
- I think we have to be patient until there are sources posting official updates for upcoming WBPA films. The Media Expert (talk) 18:32, 18 February 2024 (UTC)
