Update tag

[edit]

There is nothing in the bio between September 2013 and August 2015. We need something for that time period. If I can get to it, I will, but hopefully others can before I get around to it. – Muboshgu (talk) 19:37, 19 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Is the outdated tag because it's a GA? Otherwise, most articles are outdated, but I wouldn't want to see them tagged.—Bagumba (talk) 19:50, 19 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Believe me, I don't want to tag it, either. But this article is a GA, and GAs should be kept up to standards or else risk being reassessed. Other articles that are outdated probably merit the tag as well. I added one on Kaleb Cowart, and am also hoping to get around to improving that page. I will try to add in on Venable's 2014 and 2015 seasons later, but for now the gap is a problem. – Muboshgu (talk) 20:03, 19 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I've linked the tag to this discussion. As long as it's clear what is missing and not just a drive by tag, I'm OK. Otherwise, it wasn't too obvious initially how this was outdated relative to other articles.—Bagumba (talk) 20:16, 19 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
It wasn't initially obvious to me either, until I scrolled down to add about the trade to Texas. I and another editor got Cowart up to date yesterday. I will update this (and detag it) later today, unless someone beats me to it. – Muboshgu (talk) 16:50, 20 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I've made an update (his poor 2014 season, the Padres adding a new starting outfield, and his 2015 numbers with San Diego) and removed the tag. Any rewrites are appreciated. – Muboshgu (talk) 17:11, 20 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
