Traverso DAW is a cross-platform multitrack audio recording and audio editing suite with support for CD mastering and non-linear processing. It is free software, licensed under GNU General Public License.

Traverso offers a unique user interface using both the mouse and the keyboard together for precision and speed.[2] Designed for scalability, Traverso DAW can be used by live musicians using a netbook.[3]

Development Status[edit]

As of November 2016, Traverso DAW development seems still. The official project page states that website is in 'maintenance mode'.[4] However, the website seems to be in the same state at least since November 2014.[5] The latest official release announcement dates to 16 October 2014[6]
