You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Welcome![edit]

Hello, कप्तान1, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your changes. You may have problems writing in English, though. Did you know there are Wikipedias in over 300 languages? You may like to help at a Wikipedia in your language instead. Anyway, welcome to the project, and if you need help, you can visit the Teahouse. Welcome![edit]

Hi, कप्तान1, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question.

However, there is a small issue with your username. As it is in a non-Latin alphabet script it may not display correctly for many other users. Although usernames like yours are not prohibited, Wikipedia's signature guideline and username policy encourage you, as a courtesy to other users, to alter your signature so that it also includes a transliteration of your username using Latin characters, so others can see it correctly. For the how-to of tailoring your username, please see WP:CUSTOMSIG.

Your contributed article, असंलिव[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, असंलिव. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – International Alphabet of Sanskrit Transliteration. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at International Alphabet of Sanskrit Transliteration. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Fram (talk) 14:51, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor. - Arjayay (talk) 12:01, 15 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I am just adding ISO 15919 to the articles with support of dēvanāgarī script , that script is understandable by more than 80 % of the indian population and more than 1 billion people worldwide. that's the reason why I am adding ISO 15919 with support of Dēvanāgarī script. कप्तान1 (talk) 10:44, 18 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, that's why you were blocked. You knew perfectly well you shouldn't be doing that, you were warned about this repeatedly in February and in March and in April. Yamla (talk) 11:14, 18 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You could start reading the content of this page to find repeated answers to your question. I'll protect the page for a week to encourage reading. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 11:19, 18 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, that was an unnecessary additional measure, and this specific question had not explicitly been answered. The concerns and the block are about the persistent addition of Indic scripts to India-related articles, not about ISO 15919 transliterations. See Special:Diff/1018325356 for an example edit by Arjayay, who has attempted to explain the concerns to you before. MOS:INDICSCRIPT contains the following additional advice: "use International Phonetic Alphabet pronunciation guides, which are more international", so I recommend stopping to add both.
The current two unblock requests are phrased as questions. If you have questions about the block, feel free to ask them as normal text. You can use the following code to notify me about the question: {{ping|ToBeFree}} ~~~~
When blocking, I was additionally concerned about Special:Diff/1018092447/1018465359, but I think I can understand what has happened there. Wikipedia is a tertiary source that summarizes what other sources say. We take care to fairly represent all significant viewpoints, and you seem to have removed a significant viewpoint. The article describes various usages of the symbol, and – no matter if we like it – the symbol has been prominently used by Nazis. If I correctly understand the situation, your replacement was caused by cultural differences, as described in the article: To you, either the symbol has nothing to do with Nazism, or you dislike this context. Could you agree not to make similar changes in the future?
Thank you very much in advance and best regards,
~ ToBeFree (talk) 15:39, 18 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@ToBeFree , ISO 15919 perfectly shows Dēvanāgarī transliteration that's why I was used the ISO and Dēv.: कप्तान1 (talk) 15:48, 18 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

No worries about that. Would you agree not to add Dēvanāgarī to English Wikipedia articles again? It would also be helpful if you could explain why you have done so after many warnings and a block. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 15:53, 18 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

STOP IT. If you wish to be unblocked, make a request. WP:GAB explains how. Pinging someone over and over and over again shows you are being deliberately disruptive and you will lose talk page access if you keep doing this. Don't ping anyone else. what does it mean ??? कप्तान1 (talk) 13:04, 27 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

WP:GAB explains how to make an unblock request. You need to address the reasons for your block, which include persistently actively rejecting community concerns by introducing indic scripts into the lead section of articles and competence concerns. You'll need to convince the reviewing admin that you are indeed competent to edit here, will not disrupt Wikipedia any further, and will adhere to community consensus. --Yamla (talk) 13:37, 27 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@कप्तान1: I restored talk page access because I thought you could make a successful unblock request. Please follow the instructions you already have been given by filling out an unblock request in the usual manner. You have agreed not to add Indic script. Pease describe what constructive edits you would make. --Deepfriedokra (talk)

I can add ISO 15919 to the articles related to Indic religions and history of India to better differentiate between all consonants of Indic languages. कप्तान1 (talk) 15:57, 27 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm afraid that does nothing to build the encyclopedia. Indeed, that's why you were blocked. That is what you have said you would not do anymore. You have not told us how you would constructively edit. The last time was at UTRS. I will therefore remove talk page access. That was your fourth UTRS. I will give you six months to contemplate how you would help build Wikipedia. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 17:16, 27 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Deepfriedokra, I'm not sure if TPA was ever technically revoked; the only thing I did once is ECP'ing this page. I wouldn't object to TPA revocation though... ~ ToBeFree (talk) 18:07, 27 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
