Speedy deletion nomination of The Vultures
[edit]You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.
Thank you.
A tag has been placed on The Vultures requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Blanchardb -Me•MyEars•MyMouth- timed 19:39, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Invitation To The Millenium Part I
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Invitation To The Millenium Part I requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. —KuyaBriBriTalk 14:45, 22 June 2012 (UTC)
- See WP:NBAND for what a band need to have achieved before having a Wikipedia article, and WP:NALBUMS for the notability requirement for an album to have its own article, even if the band is notable. JohnCD (talk) 16:57, 22 June 2012 (UTC)

Please stop
[edit]You are wasting your time with non-notable articles. Wikipedia is not a place for new bands to promote themselves. Please read WP:BAND - we are looking for albums or songs in national charts, or two albums released on a major label. With Powerslave, you are talking about a first album to be released later this year. Good luck to them, but Wikipedia is not a crystal ball and does not cover the "up and coming", only those who have already arrived. The time for an article will be after they have released albums, toured, and had independent reviews. Meanwhile, Myspace and Facebook are available for you to write about them. The article Invitation To The Millenium Part I has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No claim of WP:NOTABILITY
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Nat Gertler (talk) 22:01, 12 August 2012 (UTC)

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Invitation To The Millennium Part I, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Invitation To The Millenium Part I: Power of the Gods. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. MadmanBot (talk) 22:37, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
Hello, 3213132, and thank you for your contributions!
I wanted to let you know it seems an article you worked on, Invitation To The Millennium Part II, is copied from another Wikipedia page, Invitation To The Millenium Part II. It's fine to do this as long as you provide the following information in the edit summary:
- a link to the article you copied from
- the date you copied it
You can do this now by editing the page, making any minor edit to the article, and adding the above information into the edit summary.
If you're still not sure how to fix the problem, please leave a message at the help desk. It's possible that I made a mistake, so feel free to remove the tag I placed on the article.
Thanks again for helping build the free encyclopedia! MadmanBot (talk) 22:37, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
