An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is In the Mix (Pink album). We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/In the Mix (Pink album). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:43, 24 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your reversion of my decline of your WP:CSD nominations[edit]

Once an admin, or anyone else besides the article's creator has removed a speedy deletion template it is not appropriate to simply add it back. Also, undoing an edit without comment implies that it was vandalism, which my edit was not. These articles may be good candidates to simply be redirected to the albums they were on. If you still feel deletion is warranted, consider proposed deletion or an deletion discussion. Beeblebrox (talk) 11:06, 20 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 11:19, 20 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:ElissaTsadaq Bmeinalbumcover.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:ElissaTsadaq Bmeinalbumcover.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. FASTILYsock(TALK) 14:41, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

December 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to User:Beeblebrox, are considered vandalism and are immediately reverted. • I don't know why you thought vandalizing my user page was the right way to communicate. I apologize if you missed my reply to your previous message, my talk page gets very busy and is archived frequently. See User talk:Beeblebrox/Archive 13#Ave Mary A. Beeblebrox (talk) 18:19, 25 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I should also have mentioned that if you want to ask me a question, you should ask it on my current talk page, not the archive. I deleted your user page because you blanked it out. When the sole creator of a page blanks it, it is usually taken as tacit request for deletion. You can re-create it at any time you like, or it can be restored to the state it was in before you blanked it out, all you have to do is ask. Beeblebrox (talk) 18:48, 25 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Telephoneremixescover.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Telephoneremixescover.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 07:35, 18 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly unfree File:FirstofficialEclipseposter.jpg[edit]

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:FirstofficialEclipseposter.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files because its copyright status is unclear or disputed. If the file's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the file description page. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tyson Houseman. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Alan - talk 05:08, 24 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Deleting it isn't up to me, it's up to whether or not other editors and the admins can find enough notability on the subject for it to meet notability guidelines. Quality guidelines is another issue, which the article definatly fails, but that's not a deletable dfailure, the article would simply be tagged first, over time, if it's not improved, then it goes up for deletion on quality. I suggest you find some notable context to add with reliable sources to cite to save the article, or at the least, tag th e article that it is being worked on. Just because an article is submtted for deletion doesn't mean it will be deleted, you can save it Alan - talk 06:13, 24 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The article can be recreated when there is more. You may want to read over wikipedia's article quality guidelines, manual of style, and WP:BIO. If I didn't nominate the article someone else would ahve, or an admin would have simply deleted it. IMDB is considered a reliable source, have you searched google and yahoo for additional? even mentions in reviews of the first movie may be enough to fill in the context and make the article a little more notable. Even check some fan sites for links to sources that can be used on wikipedia. Also, while we're chatting, if you want to save the images you uploaded from being deleted, you need to find better sources, one isn't found at the source you supplied at all. Once you find an acceptable source for the image that can be verified for fair use permissions, you can remove the delete tags fromt he iamge pages. Alan - talk 06:36, 24 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:NancyAjram7.jpg[edit]

Heading titles on Eurovision Song Contest 2013 article[edit]

Hi Ahmedfarhat, you recently made this edit on the article Eurovision Song Contest 2013. I have since had to re-amend the section heading back to its original title "Incidents", instead of your version of "Controversy". This is because an agreement was reached back in July 2012 that the term "incidents" is more suitable, and a reminder about this was also posted via the article talk page. In future could you please could you discuss possible re-titling of section headers with other members of Project Eurovision via the Project's talk page or on the article talk page; before going ahead and altering such headers. Thank You! WesleyMouse 14:46, 28 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article Ahmed Chawki (singer) has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. File permission problem with File:NancyAjram8.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:NancyAjram8.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 12:38, 15 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Lebanon Entertainment requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
