Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Anwar (2010 film) has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_iUu3qbudnXg/THuAettSxDI/AAAAAAAAIqM/TIHldG0PUQ8/s1600/Anwar+3.jpg. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 13:18, 18 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Problems with upload of File:Urumi2011.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Urumi2011.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Prithviraj.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 20:17, 12 March 2011 (UTC). If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 20:17, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Prithviraj2011.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Prithviraj2011.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 09:05, 15 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to upload media files lacking copyright information, you may be blocked from editing. If you are unsure of the correct copyright template, please refer to the list of image copyright tags or ask at the copyright question page. Fut.Perf. 11:04, 15 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Stop. When I told you not to upload images with missing copyright information, I didn't mean you should put in untrue copyright information instead. File:Prithviraj2011.jpg was not your "own work". It's taken from searchandhra.com/gallery/prithviraj-sukumaran-tamil-movie-photo-gallery/attachment/prithviraj-sukumaran-tamil-movie-photo-gallery-20 . I'm pretty certain the other images aren't yours either.
Please don't do this ever again. These are copyright violations. There is simply no way we can use these images here. Fut.Perf. 12:00, 15 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you

Speedy deletion nomination of Aattam

[edit]

Hello Ashok 1504,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Aattam for deletion, because it's a redirect from an article title to a namespace that's not for articles.

If you don't want Aattam to be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Hello Justiyaya, kindly conveying that I'm not contesting the deletion. Please proceed as per guidelines. Ashok 1504 (talk) 14:34, 7 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
