Excellent work Omkar. I am very happy to see your work & can see that you've also competed working on the next deadline's additions. It seems that Wikipedia people are also very impressed by your work, as I can see from the comments left on your talk page. DEADLINE MET WELL IN ADVANCE - PROBABLY ONE OF THE FIRST IN CLASS & NEXT DEADLINE'S WORK ALSO ALREADY DONE. Continue the good work! I hope you applied for the Campus Ambassador Programme? -Shirin--Shirin tejani (talk) 10:45, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Omkar, I hope that the reply on my talk page answered your question on "Did you Know". I have written back to the same person asking for helpful tips to get selected, and will post them on the main class page as soon as I receive them. Good luck for your exam! - Shirin--Shirin tejani (talk) 11:30, 21 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Article selection ok. - Shirin (09 August 2011)

Got to post something to make it blue.

Great Job[edit]

I've recently read your contribution to the article. Great job on being the first one to complete your course requirement. Though I would suggest that you add more references or your contribution might be heavily edited upon by administrators. Plus, it'll get you a higher score.-Jinchurikidan (talk) 16:23, 17 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Keep it up!![edit]

Hey, I'm Nitika from the Wikipedia team. I think you are doing a brilliant job with your article. Keep it up! Since you're so good with editing Wiki articles I thought I'd ask if you'd be intersted to become a Campus Ambassador. We'll be coming to your college around 11.30 tomorrow, Fri morning and will be there until 1.30. Would love to catch you on campus to say a quick 'Hi'. Let me know if you'd be around. RE:5x expansion[edit]

  • Hi Atari, 5x expansion means that an article's readable prose (text outside of infoboxes, tables, and lists) has been expanded at least fivefold. For example, if I have the article Whispering Sands (currently 737 characters), I must expand it to over 3700 characters to be eligible for DYK. For human capital, you must expand it from 12855 characters to over 65,000 characters, which is longer than most featured articles.
Generally, it's best to try and do expansion on stubs. A lot easier. Crisco 1492 (talk) 23:06, 20 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 03:06, 21 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your userspace draft[edit]

Your userspace page User:Basic.atari/Commercial paper in India appears to be an almost word-for-word copy of this Bank of India document, possibly in violation of copyright. See WP:COPYVIO. A thorough rewrite may eliminate any copyright issues, but you should probably do so soon, since any copyright violations are subject to immediate deletion, even if they are in userspace. Hairhorn (talk) 18:40, 25 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest you take some time and save this document elsewhere on your laptop. Saving content on Wikipedia from other sites is a big no-no.--Jinchurikidan (talk) 11:53, 31 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

National Dairy Development Board[edit]

Your addition to National Dairy Development Board has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Hairhorn (talk) 19:22, 9 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm extremely sorry for that mistake. I had edited that section when I did not know about the "Copyright Violation" on Wikipedia. It was long back. Please don't block me. That article isn't even a part of my Assignment. Please view my recent record of editing and spare me from blockage. Thanks. Basic.atari (talk) 01:58, 10 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

BuBbLe TeA from Me[edit]

Thank You for all the help :) Anu2033 (talk) 05:07, 4 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:Basic.atari/sandbox requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. It's ironic, in view of the subject, that I have had to delete this, but perhaps the reason will help you understand the confusing world of CC licenses. The source document http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/ says at the foot "This page is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivs 3.0 United States License", i.e. CC-BY-ND but the "ND" bit, "No Derivatives", which says the content may be copied but not modified, is too restrictive for Wikipedia's CC-BY-SA which allows modification. That means we cannot hold a copy of it, even in a user page. The different variants are explained at Creative Commons licenses. Anything with "NC" (Non-Commercial use) in it is also too restrictive for Wiipedia. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 17:22, 13 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You've got mail![edit]

Hello, Basic.atari. Please check your email; you've got mail!
It may take a few minutes from the time the email is sent for it to show up in your inbox. You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{You've got mail}} or {{ygm}} template.
