Speedy deletion nomination of The how of science and technology
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on The how of science and technology requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. ɴᴋᴏɴ21 ❯❯❯ talk 09:37, 23 July 2020 (UTC)
Please forgive. but im not done i accidentally pllublished the article . MAY I FINISH IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE? Bdetfehigj (talk) 10:20, 23 July 2020 (UTC)
- Hi. I have deleted that article, and I don't think you understand how an encyclopedia works. Wikipedia has thousands of articles about science and technology, all split out into different categories so they can be easily navigated. We would not have a catch-all science and technology article with a few details of multiple different topics as it appears you were trying to create. For example, we already have a Microscope article (which you know, as you linked to it) and we don't want the same subject covered in a different place. Similarly, we already have articles about microbes and articles covering the treatment of microbial diseases, plus articles covering Electric power transmission. We also have top-level overviews of Science and Technology, which I'm sure you can see are pretty comprehensive. Anyway, I hope this explains why the article you were creating was not appropriate. I urge you to follow some of the links in the Welcome message at the top of this page, and to use the Wikipedia Teahouse for further help on how to get started. [edit]Hello, I'm Theroadislong. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, List of chocolate bar brands, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Theroadislong (talk) 11:18, 23 July 2020 (UTC)
