Braquehais[edit]

Hello, I would say:

"However, Braquehais contributed to the birth of photojournalism through his original productions, which consisted of almost 140 pictures of the Commune".

Actually I guess it says he took 140 "plates", since it also says they couldn't yet be directly published as photos.

Just so you know... I've submitted a DYK nom for Bell alone, without his son-in-law. By the time your note alerted me to the latter, the article was already a bit too old for a new DYK nom. (DYK is getting a healthy number of nominations these days, so deadlines are taken more seriously than they are when business is slow.) Glad to see that you are keeping up with the ET vandalism. It's all the work of one user. Rather than protect the article, the best way to prevent that kind of thing is to block the user. The IP user hadn't had any warnings in almost 3 weeks, so I would be on shaky ground if I blocked right now (users are supposed to be warned before being blocked). Murfreesboro mosque photos (from email conversation)[edit]

Hi, I've used some of your images in a new article about the Murfreesboro mosque - see Islamic_Center_of_Murfreesboro. Do you have any other images relating to that controversy which might be useful for this article? - Prioryman

I just have a few protest and crowd photographs from that one day (the courthouse was packed, and I couldn't even get into the lobby). Looking through my file, one of the images contains a shot of Kevin Fisher, if you would like me to crop and upload it. I uploaded a shot of Lou Ann Zelenik ([2]) earlier this month, but it was at a political rally unrelated to the mosque controversy.

Regarding your quote current Wikipedia policy favors phasing out the "USA" following the name of the state, have you any sources, and/or arguments? As I explained on Jan's page, I have used "United States" or "USA" in every article I have created, but recently, other editors have been removing this. The only policies I could find addressing this issue are WP:NOTUSA and WP:USPLACE. The latter has the statement, "A United States city's article should never be titled "city, country" (e.g., "Detroit, United States") or "city, state, country" (e.g., "Kansas City, Missouri, USA"); that is contrary to general American usage," This appears, however, to refer only to the title. I've noticed you've done some EXTENSIVE editing to the Madeline Rogero page, so I'd like to posit to you the possibility that you might have some ownership issue with it. It's simply not a notable topic. How do you feel Rogero meets WP:N guidelines?

I'm nominating the Daniel Brown "article" for deletion as well. Just so you know. I mean, that's even less notable. That guy wasn't even elected. Where's the notability in either instance?
