Michael Crafter

I apologize. I don't usually contribute to articles that receive vandalism, I figured "undoing" was the most straight forward way :) Great that you added the protection tag - it's constantly vandalized judging by the article history. --Rosario 14:55, 13 October 2007 (UTC)

Just wanted to say thanks for helping protect Michael Crafter. Man, I've been battling that one for a while... Thanks! Electriceel [ə.lɛk.tʃɹɪk il] 13:36, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

Updating the historical template

Hi, seeing that you are the user that most recently made edits to the historical template On my sub-page (User:Cocoaguy/historical alt) i created a version using the ambox template, maby we could update the main one too. -- (Cocoaguy ここがいい contribstalk) 22:17, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

I'm afraid that ambox is only for templates in the article namespace. There is not currently consensus to use it in any other namespace, so using it for {{historical}} is out for now. —Remember the dot (talk) 22:33, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

Rudget RfA

Dearest Supporter,

Thank you for your participation in my RFA, which closed unsuccessfully with 39 supports, 15 oppose, and 1 neutral. I would have liked to gain some experience of being an admin, but it wasn't to be. At least I gained some valuable time there and will use my knowledge picked up to my next candidacy. I would like to say once again, thank you for voting and I hope to see you at my next request be it a nomination or self-induced, I hope I don't get as many questions!

Boston (Augustana Song)

What makes you think it was vandalism? Have you even watched the show? if anything, the song's appearance in the show is what made me know the band even existed. I won't add it again, I expect you to revert your undo! 201.205.238.34 14:40, 26 October 2007 (UTC) Rafa

Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh

Thanks for taking an interest in the article. While I am pretty sure that the article needs much improvement, I would like to have some help there. Could you point to specific peacock/weasel words and POV problems on the articles' talk page? I have some time on my hand to work on the article. Aditya(talkcontribs) 04:42, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

If you are referring to the words "radical" and "militant", I really don't know how else to describe the organization. The High Court in Bangladesh and all major Bangladeshi newspapers have described the organization as such. As for the American POV, all I can say is that almost all the sources used to write the article are of Bangladesh, where the organization operated. I am a bit at loss here. What to you think can be done to mitigate this situation? Aditya(talkcontribs) 14:26, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

A speedy on a page that has some references, a bunch of edits and an active talk page? Rather unapplicable. AFD it perhaps, but a speedy it isn't. --Blowdart | talk 14:39, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

Preity Zinta FA

Hi there. The Preity Zinta article has recently achieved A-class status. Due to the wealth of support I have decided to now nominate for an FA class article which I believe and judging by the comments of others is pretty much up to. In my view it is better than some existing FA actor articles. I would therefore be very grateful if you could give it a final review in your own time and leave your comments and views at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Preity Zinta. Thankyou, your comments are always valuable. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 10:57, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
