Deletion of Onevali

Hello,

You have deleted the article for Onevali which has taken a few hours to write. Can you please explain why you have done this and how I can make sure it does not get deleted again?

It has been written to avoid any ambiguity, promotions or irrelevancy. Known references have also been provided.

Regards — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cr8tive (talkcontribs) 03:04, 24 January 2012 (UTC)

Hi!

The article in the above AfD has been expanded substantially, it is much different than what it looked like when you first nominated it for deletion. The improvements and expansion have made me change my !vote to keep and I now have no doubt that it will be kept. Rather than keeping the discussion open for another 6 days without any real purpose, would you consider perhaps withdrawing your nomination on the discussion page so that we can close the debate early? Big Bird (talkcontribs) 13:23, 25 January 2012 (UTC)

  • Of course, I'll withdraw-Cssiitcic (talk) 04:03, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
Thank you! Your collaboration is much appreciated. Big Bird (talkcontribs) 12:46, 26 January 2012 (UTC)

?

wtf why are you removing my shit man? geez it's just a biography of a great hacker.

  • Sorry but it violated Wikipedia's rules per WP:BIO and WP:VNDL. Try again following the rules! Cheers!Cssiitcic (talk) 03:36, 31 January 2012 (UTC)

Proposal for deletion

Hi, You proposed an article (Virtual Line Trunking for deletion aprox 20 seconds after the first version was places with a standard template for reasoning and then specifically mentioning:

  • possible advertisment, *unreliable sources.

Can you explain why the sources in Datacenternetworks and ITWorldcanada are unreliable. I do understand that you might not fully trust them as they talk about the implementation by one specific vendor: but that is because that vendor did introduce their implementation of this new protocol shortly before that and these people wrote their articles. In the template also "copyedit" is mentioned: and although the data/information comes from a source nothing is copy/pasted. I wrote it myself and as I do work with the protocol I do know what I'm writing. Thanks, Tonkie (talk) 19:54, 26 June 2012 (UTC)

I did go to the Proposal for deletion page of today to make my case why not to delete: but wasn't there yet. I assume you will add that asap. As you might have seen I've reacted on the Talk page of VLT, so any discussion on the reasons for proposed deletion should best go there (feel free to remove my comments on this page). Greetz, Tonkie (talk) 20:27, 26 June 2012 (UTC)
Hi Cssiitcic: you were able to nominate the article on VLT within 2 minutes, or at least put a load of templates on the page with all kind of unsupported/not documented complaints. But when trying to get in touch with you to discuss it it is very silent frm your end. Condering to remove the tamplates you added as there is nothing said by you about the reasons why they were placed, nor do you join a discussion on it. And even checking the "nominatin for deletion" I can't find the VLT nomination. Any questions from me for additional information are ignored. Hope that you can address my concerns before tomorrow, otherwise I will remove the templates due to lack of an actuel deletion nomination or any support on why they were added. Thanks again, Tonkie (talk) 11:58, 28 June 2012 (UTC)

Re:A barnstar for you!

Thanks for the barnstar very much appreciated. Cheers ★☆ DUCKISJAMMMY☆★ 21:49, 26 June 2012 (UTC)

excessive detail??

I think this edit was a mistake. Without the kind of detail that's there, the article would be incomprehensible. Another article on this topic titled non uniform sampling (incorrectly punctuated and now a redirect page) was deleted because it omitted that kind of detail and was deleted for lack of content. The article Abby Lee Miller has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails GNG

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — raekyt 03:11, 29 October 2012 (UTC)

Hello, Cssiitcic. You have new messages at Pedro's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

Cochrane has generously agreed to give free, full-access accounts to 100 medical editors. Individual access would otherwise cost between $300 and $800 per account. Thank you Cochrane!

Proposed deletion of The Sound and the Fury (Smith)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Even though, it might not be a guideline, it is usually a nice thing to do, to at least open the references present in an article before nominating or proposing for deletion. You didn't even consider the "Under construction" template in Shaibu Husseini before proposing for deletion. Anyway, I have expanded the article. I hope it now has "context"!. Darreg (talk) 13:43, 5 June 2016 (UTC)

Hey Cssiitcic, I saw that you added the mugshot of the suspect. I recently removed it because, according to WP:MUG, BLP articles should not include images that present a person in a false or disparaging light. I removed the image and added it to a multiple image template further down in the article. Thanks! -- LuK3 (Talk) 17:42, 9 June 2016 (UTC)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Alexander Brian Downes requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://politicalscience.columbian.gwu.edu/alexander-b-downes. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. DGG ( talk ) 01:34, 11 June 2016 (UTC)

File source problem with File:Brock Turner Sentencing Photograph.jpeg

Thank you for uploading File:Brock Turner Sentencing Photograph.jpeg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

New deal for page patrollers

Hi Cssiitcic,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:29, 13 November 2016 (UTC)

Opposing speedy deletion of Jayanta-Manik

Sir, I am just starting the page with  Working tag and gradually developing the page. This is very notable fictional character ob Bengali literature having importance of Wikipedia. At least let me complete the article first then you can decide whether it is violating any rule or norms of Wiki. I will put reliable reference on it. Is it appropriate to delete without warning whereas the work is going on? It ls my request to revert it to enrich the article. Thank you. Pinakpani (talk) 16:02, 28 February 2018 (UTC)
