Wonder if you up to expanding Mécia Lopes de Haro's article a little? Did she have any part in her husband's unpopularity?--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 03:14, 15 November 2010 (UTC)

Do you know Portuguese? Just see what you can do.--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 23:47, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
Please give your opinion on Talk:Louis Ferdinand, Dauphin of France#Revert.--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 04:11, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
Check out Template:House of Estridsen! You article on Jutta made me think of it.--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 01:55, 28 November 2010 (UTC)
Can you create an article for Valdemar the Young, the son of Valdemar II of Denmark?
Okay. I tidy it up a little. BTW Have a Merry Christmas!--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 22:17, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
I'm not sure; it doesn't sound right to me. But you can place it on her talk page until it can be properly sourced. BTW did you say you lost some info on the Valdemar the Young article because of an edit conflict? Also do you know how to upload or crop images?--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 23:19, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
I uploaded before and it was an entire mess; I only asked because it would be great if someone could get a picture of for some of the Danish kings and queens. I recently reimprove the List of Danish monarchs to make it more like the List of British monarchs. Can you double check List of Danish monarchs for any mistakes?--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 22:03, 23 December 2010 (UTC)

WikiProject Poland activity check

We are doing another activity check on members of Wikipedia:WikiProject Poland. I've noticed that you have not been active in the Poland-related articles in the past few months (we define it as doing 10 or more Poland-related edits per month in the last three months period), and as such I took the liberty to adjust your position in our Participants list from active to semi-active. Please note that this is just a method of keeping track of how many editors are currently active on Poland-related topics. Feel free to move yourself back if you disagree with this, and/or comment on WT:POLAND. In case you are not aware of that, our project has many active discussions on its talk page, we also list Poland-related article news (hee), Poland-related new articles for review (hee), Poland-related articles in need of cleanup (here), a listing of most popula Poland-related articles (here), a portal (here), and other tools. If the activity incrases, we would like to implement other tools, such as project A-class reviews and a newsletter. We are looking forward to seeing you around more often! Take care, --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 21:30, 17 December 2010 (UTC)

Hi Daaviiid. Thanks for filling the blank in the list of Danish monarchs. Regarding young Valdemar, I think you may have misread the source, which is written very confusingly. It says "1209-Revsnæs near Kalundborg 28 Nov 1231" and I believe that the hyphen separates birth and death records. Other sources state that he died at Revsnæs/Refsnæs/Røsnæs near Kalundborg, but I haven't found his place of birth listed anywhere. Favonian (talk) 14:36, 19 December 2010 (UTC)

Hello

Hi David, how are you? Created any new articles lately? A pity Jack has pretty much stopped editing. He really should come back as he's missed here.--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 10:32, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

Hi.Looking at your edit here, I failed to find that the citation referred to any action of Margaret's mother-in-law. So I deleted the questionable text and moved the (ingenious and interesting) reference to a 'See also' section. Please reply if I'm wrong or if you want to come back with a reliable citation. Cheers, Bjenks (talk) 04:45, 6 March 2011 (UTC)

Edit summaries, multiple consecutive edits

Hello David, and thanks for your many contributions. When you make a change to an article, please provide an edit summary. Doing so helps everyone to understand the intention of your edit. It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you.

Another note on editing: It will also be easier for you and your co-editors to collaborate on articles if, instead of making multiple consecutive edits in rapid succession on an article, you use the "Show preview" button to view your changes incrementally before finally saving the page once you're satisfied with your edits. Monitor. WikiProject Poland Newsletter: Issue 1 (April 2011)

WikiProject Poland Newsletter • April 2011
For our freedom and yours

Welcome to our first issue of WikiProject Poland newsletter, the Monitor (named after the first Polish newspaper).

Our Project has been operational since 1 June, 2005, and also serves as the Poland-related Wikipedia notice board. I highly recommend watchlisting the Wikipedia:WikiProject Poland page, so you can be aware of the ongoing discussions. We hope you will join us in them, if you haven't done so already! Unlike many other WikiProjects, we are quite active; in this year alone about 40 threads have been started on our discussion page, and we do a pretty good job at answering all issues raised.

In addition to a lively encyclopedic, Poland-related, English-language discussion forum, we have numerous useful tools that can be of use to you - and that you could help us maintain and develop:

This is not all; on our page you can find a list of useful templates (including userboxes), awards and other tools!

With all that said, how about you join our discussions at WT:POLAND? Surely, there must be something you could help others with, or perhaps you are in need of assistance yourself?

You have received this newsletter because you are listed as a [member link] at WikiProject Poland. • Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 21:11, 25 April 2011 (UTC)

Ingeborg of Denmark, Duchess of Mecklenburg

Hey David. Do you think Ingeborg of Denmark, Duchess of Mecklenburg and her daughter Marie of Mecklenburg deserve their own articles? Their descendants Eric of Pomerania and Christopher of Bavaria played such a large role in the Danish successions and the Kalmar Union in the 1400s.--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 01:32, 4 May 2011 (UTC)

Valdemar IV of Denmark. She has one article on the Swedish wiki sv:Ingeborg Valdemarsdotter.--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 23:14, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
I added an infobox and some more stuff. I clarified her role as potential heiress rather than heiress. Denmark was an elective monarchy at the time and most likely would never had been inherited by a female but rather a female line male. Her son Albert was considered as potential candidate to succeed Valdemar IV, but Margaret and her son Olaf II won instead.--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 00:42, 6 May 2011 (UTC)

If you are ever bored. You should look to List of Savoyard consorts. Someone decided to go and create articles for every single one of them with absolutely no knowledge of any of those people.

Hey David. Do you think you can create an article for dona Isabel de la Cerda es:Isabel de la Cerda y Pérez de Guzmán, the last heiress of the House de la Cerda. She was possible contender to the throne during the war between Henry II of Castile and Peter I of Castile, and Henry II had to grant her large tract of land to buy off her clam to the Castilian crown.--Queen Elizabeth II's Little Spy (talk) 13:37, 8 June 2011 (UTC)

Nice! :) I'm recently working on Finnish Wikipedia coverage on Gaga, mostly adding the chart positions first. Loads of work... -.- -- Frous (talk) 19:58, 4 June 2011 (UTC)

Liverpool F.C. wiki

Hello, I am the lead sysop on the Liverpool F.C. wiki. It is a wiki dedicated solely to Liverpool F.C.. We aim to make the ultimate database for the club we all love. Since adopting the incredibly inactive wiki about a month ago we have greatly increased the article count and modernized it from it's previous state. The problem is there are not many active members on the site and we need more for the site to properly grow. It is well organized and on it's way to be a great site we just need more editors to expand. It is based on Wikia's network of wikis. Like Wikipedia it is free to use and the editing process is exactly the same. If you know how to edit Wikipedia you will know how to edit the Liverpool F.C. wiki. Now for the question you may be asking yourself. Why edit there? Wikipedia has articles on Liverpool. This is true. At the Liverpool wiki it is all about Liverpool. We allow editors to edit anything about Liverpool no matter how trivial. We allow edits on reserve and academy players, and even things as trivial as the fitness coaches for the year 2011. We also do not lock pages to registered users. That means if you have something to say about Steven Gerrard you can click edit and not view source and actually write something. I would love for you to come by and check the wiki out. Feel free to edit any page. Every time you click edit your ARE helping this wiki grow. Thanks for taking the time to read this! http://liverpoolfc.wikia.com/wiki/Liverpool_FC_Wiki --Coffeeclub213 (talk) 02:40, 14 June 2011 (UTC)

I think I bothered you with that before, but... why not nominate your work at T:TDYK, so that thousands can read it from the main page? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 19:24, 17 June 2011 (UTC)

Need your help

Hi. I saw you have made a many contributions to the UK charts series of articles. I've recently created a similar series of articles of the U.S. singles charts by decade, which are built the same way the British ones are (by decade and with statistics).

These are the articles:

Unfortunately, there are some Wikipedians whom oppose keeping these articles around, claiming that they are essentially a duplication of information which already exists in other articles (namely, the extended articles covering individual years in the U.S. singles chart) and therefore they are in their opinion redundant – even though in my opinion, these articles present the chart lists more effectively (through sortable lists with reduced redundant data) and contain statistics by decade which does not exist elsewhere on Wikipedia. Despite this opposition, so far three of these articles have survived individual AfDs. Nevertheless, according to this current ongoing deletion review it seems that very soon another bigger AfD is going to be held in which the fate of ALL these articles is going to be determined in a voting. I myself believe that these articles have a lot of potential and could be further expanded/developed. Nevertheless, if this potential would not be demonstrated soon enough, I fear the outcome of the upcoming voting, knowing that many Wikipedians might not see the value in such a series and/or its potential to be further expanded/developed.

Because you have had a lot of experience in developing the British charts articles, I assume you might have some good insights on how to expanding this series of articles as well. I would appreciate any help you would be able to provide in expanding/developing this series of articles.

Thanks in advance. TheCuriousGnome (talk) 02:28, 2 February 2012 (UTC)
