Request reason:

I was just inquiring about relaunching wiki article, I would try to add more value to Wikipedia as per the guidelines and will not violate any rules. therefore request wiki Toddst1/webmasters to unblock my account. With Regards, Deepak HMDeepakhmwiki (talk) 13:41, 6 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 18:53, 6 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

The very fact that you're requesting an unblock with your alternate account is ample evidence that you do not understand the reason for your block. Yunshui  10:12, 14 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Why were you blocked, and what does it mean? Mdann52 (talk) 12:35, 12 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Mdann52 my account is Blocked for requesting to re-publish back the removed page from Wikipedia, got an alert that my account may be a sock puppet of Girish.unnithan. Can I request for an auto unblock here?

(Non-administrator comment)You are blocked because the blocking admin (possibly wrongly) thought that you are a sock puppet of Girish.unnithan, who said(link) he didn't use multiple logins(and was unblocked).I think you should appeal again and clarify that the sock puppetry accusation is wrong.

Hi Mdann52 my Wikipedia account related issue is been resolved & thanks a ton for helping. Now I would like to know how to manage this User talk: page. DO i need to clear the template or should leave the current page as it is? Please help me.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Sushil Mantri, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Indian. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, I'm Donner60. I wanted to let you know that I removed an external link you added to the page Sobha Ltd. because it seemed inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thanks. Donner60 (talk) 05:58, 16 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

In answer to your question on my talk page:
Please see Wikipedia:External links especially in the Links normally to be avoided section in particular for a listing of social media sites to be avoided as external links:
"10. Social networking sites (such as Myspace, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram), chat or discussion forums/groups (such as Yahoo! Groups), Twitter feeds, Usenet newsgroups or e-mail lists."
"11. Blogs, personal web pages and most fansites, except those written by a recognized authority. (This exception for blogs, etc., controlled by recognized authorities is meant to be very limited; as a minimum standard, recognized authorities who are individuals always meet Wikipedia's notability criteria for people.)"
Although the official guidelines are in Wikipedia:External links, the essay in Wikipedia:External links/Perennial websites has a useful explanation. Wikipedia:External links/Noticeboard and a few pages linked on that page are pages where questions about external links can be asked]].
I know of no way to tag a page to automatically keep such links from being added again. As far as I know, pages simply needed to be watched or recent changes to pages need to be watched. You might want to ask your question on the noticeboard.
You also may find the following pages have useful information about Wikipedia: Wikipedia:Notability, Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources, Wikipedia:Verifiability, Wikipedia:No original research, Wikipedia:Neutral point of view,Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not, Getting started; Introduction to Wikipedia; Wikipedia:Simplified ruleset; and Wikipedia:Simplified Manual of Style. Help:Contents and Wikipedia:Questions provide guidance and links to pages where help can be requested on various subjects Thank you. Donner60 (talk) 07:19, 16 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thank You

[edit]

This is very helpful reference to me & have removed social media links from one of the organization page (paytm), in the interest of keeping the artcile page under External links|wikipedia external links guidelines. Initially found few social links under external link section.

[edit]

The comments you made here using "we" for Sobha Developers prompted this question.

Information icon Hello Deepakhmwiki. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, such as the edit you made to Sobha Ltd. ,. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a black hat practice.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists, and if it does not, from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Deepakhmwiki. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Deepakhmwiki|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. If you are being compensated, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, please do not edit further until you answer this message. Brianhe (talk) 15:31, 16 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Brianhe

I am not getting paid personally for any of these edits. I want make sure all pages been maintained by me is up to date and error free. Still l am a learner when it comes for wiki edits. Need some one like your guideline to proceed further. Please do let me know how can I contribute to wiki in upcoming days. The problems is to maintain 100 percent real facts on main article page. Some times yes I do get suggestion to update Sobha page directly from related people to that business but I do it free of cost. I am a passionate contributor and love to become moderator like you guyz one day.

And I took help from people related to this business to add accurate info and my aim was to rebuild the article which had problem and make it error free page. Do let me know how can I proceed further. If I get paid I wlll. Make sure to consult you before making paid edits. I think some info I got through these people might have made you to feel like that.

My mistake not to properly check the content tone. And apologize for that..am not from this company. But when ever I contribute to wikipedia, I always make sure to do in depth research and contact concerned person to avoid any legal issues and prefer to add factual updates

But incase If it is a paid edit, do we need to put the tag

on that particular user talk page?

Invitation from Wikipedia Asian Month 2016

[edit]

Thanks for partipating Wikipedia Asian Month last year, and I hope you enjoy it. Last year, more than 7,000 articles contribute to Wikipedia in 43 languages in Wikipedia Asian Month, making us one of the largest event on Wikipedia. We will organize this event again in upcoming November, and would like to invite you join us again.

This year, we are lowering down the standards that you only need to create 4 (Four) articles to receive a postcard (new design), and articles only need to be more than 3,000 bytes and 300 words. We are also improving our postcard sending process, e.g. making the postcards right now, and collecting the address after the event ends without waiting other languges.

Wikipedians who create the most articles on each Wikipedia will be honored as "Wikipedia Asian Ambassadors". We will send you both digital copy, and a paper copy of the Ambassador certificate.

Thank you for considering! --AddisWang (talk)

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:02, 26 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Bristlecone (company) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Has not been demonstrated to meet WP:NCORP. Routine business transactions are the meat of the sourcing; see WP:CORPDEPTH on good vs bad sourcing.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Bri.public (talk) 16:15, 15 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Sushil Mantri, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. CUPIDICAE💕 17:22, 14 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
