Hello, I'm MelbourneStar. I noticed that you recently removed some content from St Paul's Cray, with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. —MelbourneStarMerry Xmas! 11:43, 16 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Disambiguation

[edit]

Could you please make sure articles link to the correct places? For example, there is more than one Grove Park in London. The one you are most likely looking for is Grove Park, Lewisham. There is also Grove Park, Hounslow. For Elmstead the one in London is Elmstead Woods. For many other links, there is not always one place that is dominant. When you are about to save, press the button "Show Preview" and then over any links, open them in a new tab to check they are where you want to link to. Please also see WP:Disambig. If there is any other help you need, don't hesitate to ask. Simply south...... eating lexicological sandwiches for just 7 years 16:37, 27 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summaries and talk pages

[edit]

You have removed content from London locality articles, and some of it has been restored by other editors. Before making any more changes like this, can I ask you to use edit summaries to explain what each edit is trying to achieve. If it looks like others do not agree with your edits, use the talk pages of articles to discuss the changes, for example Horn Park has a discussion page at Talk:Horn Park. Thanks! Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
