RxSaver Page

I'd like to revisit RxSaver - there is a decent amount of coverage, and there are relevant links throughout Wikipedia on the healthcare crisis and companies like these seem to be getting shutdown by big pharma, so I think it makes sense to at least have a stub up there, as there seems to be significant coverage. 73.6.151.114 (talk) 14:23, 31 August 2020 (UTC)

The fact that Big Pharma are allegedly shutting down these companies is not really relevant to whether a particular article should appear on Wikipedia. Bands in Goa

I've spent a couple of hours working to get citations and better info fo the Bands in Goa page, and hope this meets the requirements. I am part of the Wikipedians of Goa User Group, and we sometimes have problems to find sources for information which is mostly in the oral domain. Seeking your assistance. Fredericknoronha.

I think the issue is that we don't want the article to be just a list of bands from Goa, if these bands don't already have Wikipedia articles (or could be eligible for one). It doesn't have to be the English Wikipedia, they could have articles in other languages as well. super speedy deletion

Hi, you recently deleted a page I created: World Textile Art Organization. My issue is that within 24 hour of creating the page, it was deleted. I saw the flag for speeding deletion, was looking for further sources and the page was deleted by the time I went to add a source--this was within an hour of me seeing the speedy deletion flag. WTF!!!!!! It is't like there was any offensive or hateful there. really WTF

You move my article in draft. Fine. But perhaps your energy could be invested in more important stuff? I mean, the article is about a recent french movie. Nobody care if it's not "perfect" for a day or two. By moving in draft, that make collaboration harder and bring non real value.

I would suggest contemplating your work and see what real value you brings for user and editors. In my opinion you are moving stuff around, adding noise. Enforcing rules like a total bureaucrat is it really the best way to engage? Don't take me wrong, those rules have a purpose but chill a bit perhaps. Beach Boogie

Thank you for your note on the above. I agree that the text may have been more flamboyant than was appropriate and redrafting of this would be better. I did try however to make the article factual, with details of the event in table format taking the information from printed sources that were available. I also agree with you regard to the large photograph at the bottom of the article, but this was more to do with my basic understanding of writing wiki than was actually intended (ie this is how it appeared when inserted and probably needs more suitable coding).

With regard to the independant sources, sometimes these are very limited and as long as the basic source is reliable it would be difficult to easily cross references these against other information from different sources, especially in an era before the internet. I slightly disagree with your statement "memorialize your memories" as this was a significant chapter in shaping the modern partner dance enviroment and I think the article would be of interest to countless people and that there would be significant additional contributions from others that would improve the quality of the information and add more detail to the article.

Would a republication be worthwhile, taking into account the comments you have made? For any future articles it would probably be better to have a review via sandbox before publification, but again in this instance this was more that I am new to writing such articles and am just getting to grips with the process.

My article on Marconi's yacht Elettra

Further to my article that currently exists as https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Elettra_(ship_1904), this started out as a translation from the Italian Wikipedia at https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elettra_(nave_1904) It has now been extended and the text is supported by citations.

If you are referring to Draft:National Service and Tracking of Electronic Process (NSTEP), it still looks like a how-to manual. It's really not necessary to describe how a person would enter information into the database. And there is promotional language as well: e.g. This Speedy Service of Process is yet another Milestone in the Success history of the Hon’ble Computer Committee of the Hon’ble Madras High Court. Right now it's not an encyclopedia article at all, it's more like internal work flow documentation. And there are not third-party sources, they are all government web pages. Re:Kuk Sul Do (Choon Sik Yang)

Yeah, the whole Kuk Sul Do (Choon Sik Yang) thing has me bit confused. Originally, all the text is from the Kuk Sul Do page, but I decided to copy and paste it for another entry. Reason being that the other language entires in Kuk Sul Do refer to unarmed fighting system of North Korean military, and I figured to work the article to follow suit.

It's kinda bizzare that this Choon Sik Yang version of article has been allowed to exist for so long. Edit history indicates that the page was created in 2007 with User:Randhilforymeta and various anonymous users before him having put all the copyright nonsense on it.

Anyway, I have no real objections for deletion. Though I am bit worried that the Kuk Sul Do page might get vandalized by those who contributed a lot to the Choon Sik Yang variation. Yes it is strange that nobody noticed it for so long. If the article as it stands gets deleted for lack of notability there might not be a need for a disambiguation page. PayPay Deletion

PayPay is an online payment system in Japan. It is quite common as a form of payment in many stores in Japan, and was created by Softbank, a major Japanese company. The company's article on Japanese Wikipedia has some length.

I created the page because I wanted to know more about PayPay. I was a bit surprised to find that the page was deleted. The rationale "R2. Cross-namespace redirects" is a bit cryptic to me as a non-editor. Can you better explain the rationale, consider un-deleting it, or find another way to solve the problem? • He struggled with various challenges along his education and in the pursuit of a strong career.
• Shankar Kapri had attempts and failures in his adventure of struggling, but never gave up.
• and much of the same

It's not a resume, and you are not "selling" his skills and experience or praising him. And the fact that he donates blood is really not relevant to why he would be notable. Taking away the links to his own social media, the citations that are left do not discuss him in a significant way. If you get a chance, can you look into this newly created Elijah12354 account? I believe that this user also operated the now blocked Cool a123. My evidence to support this claim is that Elijah12354's user page is cluttered with sports season pages. They were also using their talk page as a sandbox similar to what Cool a123 was doing, according to the user's talk page history. Another thing is that Elijah12354 and Cool a123 both share interests in the KC Chiefs, LA Lakers, GS Warriors, LA Kings, and Anaheim Ducks. I also noticed that both users made the same exact edit on the 2020–21 Anaheim Ducks season page, with these edits Cool a123's edit and Elijah12354's edit. • 2d) isn't met. I am not an inexperienced editor. My account is 15 years old. I have several hundred edits.
• 3a) isn't met. The article was less than 12 hours old. It is preposterous to think that an article edited less than a day ago has "no evidence of a user actively working on it."

Hi, I noticed you moved the article FC Vaulx-en-Velin to article space, stating it now has references. However of the references provided, all of them are dead. The article is also written in very poor English, suggesting at best it's a machine translation. The article as it stands also wouldn't pass notability standards, although it could be made to do so. I started work to try and uplift and rewrite the article, but unless references can be found, most of the current history section will have to go. Being quoted in an article is not the same as being significantly discussed. If a topic has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject, it is presumed to be suitable for a stand-alone article or list. (per WP:GNG). Are there any articles or book chapters, etc. that are about the Baltic News Network? That's the sort of thing that makes it notable by Wikipedia's criteria. @LED BodyBuilding: It looks like the image is not offered under a license compatible with use on Wikipedia (i.e. CC BY-SA). This means that all copyrights are reserved to the owner. In order to use it in a Wikipedia article, there would need to be a "fair use" rationale - which relates to things like whether the image is important to the article, whether there is no other image that could be used, etc.

However, I'm confused about the origins of this image. Did you take the photo? If so, then you are the copyright owner (or your employer). It's not clear what the Law Society of Ontario has to do with it. Where did it come from? Why does the description say "Zahoruk, North Burlington"? Why did you move the Academia Cristo page to draft? It has multiple citations and is notable because it has the largest Lutheran social media presence.

One of the websites is the organization's own site. Another is to an announcement about an event where a representative is giving a talk. The thesis was written by the president of the organization. The "Influencer Marketing Hub" page is about the definition of "influencer" and does not mention Academia Cristo at all. The "Forward in Christ" article was written by the president's wife. Deletion Of Darts Players

Hi, Could you please stop suggesting that darts players I have put up basic info for on here are suggestions for deletion, please? These players have participated in major tournaments in their sport and deserve to have their (in most cases, limited) profiles mentioned on here. That's Wikipedia is for, highlighting players that not many people will have heard about. Darts might not be a massive sport compared to others, but these players have earned their pages by right, and shouldn't be deleted.

If you're such a senior editor as you say you are, you should update the rules so that everyone who has appeared in a major tournament, or who has won a PDC Tour Card. Notability subjectivity

Hi discospinster. I have a question. I've been studying the development arc of articles beginning life as stubs, and working up to Good Article grade. There is something I cannot determine. Say where an article that attempts to be started with some sort of minimum weight of content, reliable sources, will yet be at once too lop-sided/unbalanced in some of its composition to the eyes of some others, and not-enough, in the eyes of still others. That's one way of putting it, but in another, it is simply not to the taste of some, and yes to the tastes of others. Can you explain to me how, when I undid the redirect on the JordanPetersonVideos page that you'd edited, you reasoned to shift the intention of the tag?

The point is, I provided good-faith reasons to Contest Deletion, but my reasons went unanswered. The tag shows a message, in the spirit of "If you are the author, do not remove this but if you are not the author, and you think you can improve the article, go ahead and do so, and you can remove this tag". That is an open-ended community thing, but it occurs within a few minutes of article creation. After my reversion, the message/tag goes from an open-ended community thing, which is for anyone who is willing to update, to what (pardon if I'm dramatic) seems as a trial by jury.

I have created several articles now, practicing, they're receiving minor edits by others, and support. So I'm trying to develop a taste for creation, slowly building up to more regularity, resolving red lines and such. Partly this depends on a confidence in the review process. But now, the process shifts to some other process very quickly. I have reviewed the notability pages you link, I've already read them a couple times recent last months, also RS, etcetera. I think this question of notability becomes a subjective and interpretive thing (yes understandable) yet given my points expressed in the Contest Deletion message went unanswered, this leaves the impression there is more subjectivity than I naturally accommodated and adapted to. I really do not want to feel like creating articles is walking through a minefield (I did originally and got over it, now yes again). OK it seems to me that you are confusing the notability of an event that Peterson talks about on his channel with the notability of the channel. Is the channel *itself* the subject of significant discussion in multiple reliable sources? An article (or twenty articles) talking about something else that mentions a Peterson video is not "significant discussion" of the channel. So, there's no need to remove content right now. If I determine that there aren't other sources for them, I'll remove them, but for now, they should stay in the interim. Letters Patent

Hello! I saw you moved Letters Patent (United Kingdom) to Letters patent (without the capital P). The Crown Office calls the documents Letters Patent (with both the L and P capitalized), and considering they're the governing institution over royal documentation, I believe the correct name is Letters Patent and not Leters patent. My article is ready!

Hi! I made this article - Awards and prizes of the University of Santo Tomas on March 26, and published it without any sources. I thought it was okay since I put { { under construction } } on top of the article, but the following morning, it was drafted: Draft:Awards and prizes of the University of Santo Tomas. I have edited it significantly since then, and I think its already qualified to be published. Ten out of 15 sources are independent. Just because you originally wrote it doesn't mean that it can be copied to Wikipedia. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for instructions on how to allow the material to be used on Wikipedia (via the terms of the public licences CC-BY-SA and GFDL). Also the text was incredibly promotional, so it would have to be rewritten anyway to comply with the policy of neutrality. "Roots Action"

Hi - I understand the note that says the "Roots Action" page was deleted because it's redundant with the Roots Action entry on Norman Solomon's page. Since RootsAction.org is a valid and verifiable organization that is independent of Norman Solomon, I was hoping to remove it from Norman Solomon's page after establishing the new page. Is there a way I can resubmit this and have it be accepted? Thank you.

Notability basically means that the subject has been significantly discussed in multiple reliable sources. Youtube views and that sort of thing are not necessarily indicators of notability. What you wrote about in the talk page might demonstrate that Willow Osborne is notable (and the sources in the band's article are mainly about her), but that notatbility does not automatically extend to the band. For that you would need to find sources that discuss Always Evergreen per se. I suggest that you create an article about Willow Osborne, and include a section about Always Evergreen. Re: Hatenkai moved to draftspace

Yo. I understand the decision, though I figured the entry would just get outright deleted without draftspace. That said, it's bit of an tall order to try find English or even Japanese citations on the matter. Even Hatenkai's Japanese wikipedia entry (ja:覇天会) has a similar problem - with two warnings dating from September 2012 saying it has no citations and that it lacks notability for independent entry. I unwisely pushed on without even giving a draft a thought.

Anyway, I currently feel Hatenkai maybe should just be relegated to a specific mention in Aikido styles than its own entry. While Hatenkai *is* recognized and a real thing, there simply isn't enough for an tangible entry. All references to it - that I can find - are either blogs, reddit discussions or stuff on Youtube (demos and examination by western martial artists). Really? The editor in question created their account on April 11; you need to be here at least 30 days in order to get extended confirmed, and you only protected the article until April 29. Furthermore, at the time you protected the article they had a whopping 14 edits. I highly doubt they would’ve amassed 500 edits by the time the protection expires.

I understand you, but you are wrong in changing it. Freddie Mercury, etc. have British nationality. The page titled as Emiway Bantai has been continuously created in past so the orginal name Emiway Bantai has been protected (only administrators can create it). The subject is now covered by multiple reliable sources and is notable per WP:MUSIC. Since you were the admin who protected the page, I request the protection level of page Emiway Bantai to be reduced so that I can move the draft to its original name.
