Questionable edit summary

[edit]

I saw this edit summary here where you suggested that no one lives in the southern hemisphere. You...didn't really mean that, did you? You do realize many places, for instance, Australia, estimated population almost 23 million, is in the southern hemisphere, right? Are you suggesting no one lives there? It was clearly a joke. No harm, no foul. Axem Titanium (talk) 08:10, 7 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Amaury. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made with this edit to Xbox One, because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Amaury (talk) 21:52, 20 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Xbox One may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Re: AUS prices.

I'm disputing the guideline you have cited (MOS:CURRENCY) on Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/Dates and numbers because I feel its worded too strictly. ViperSnake151  Talk  00:37, 24 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Elizium23. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Antonio Banderas, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Information icon Hello, I'm Soetermans. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes without thoroughly explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry: I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, you can use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Soetermans. November 2014

[edit]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at High 'n' Dry. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 17:19, 1 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
