Numbering convention on Wikipedia

[edit]

Hi - I noticed you've changed a few articles by adding either duplicate numeral or text values for numbers. The convention on Wikipedia is to only show one number, and if it's 1-10 we usually write those out with numbers. Anything higher than 10 is spelled out. Please see MOS:NUMERAL. TimTempleton (talk) (cont) 23:20, 22 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I changed them back for you. TimTempleton (talk) (cont) 00:38, 23 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please please check it out and if it can stand please stand it and info me. Thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.246.52.11 (talk) 12:28, 16 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Ashlee greetings to you from Botswana,i'm sorry your article was deleted.I checked news sources for your name and company and its quite amazing that you have publications from big newspapers in Zimbabwe which are reliable newspapers. However, the articles reads like advertisements and some seems not so independent from you and your company, yes i know right! its surprising when someone says that to you.Well Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and topics are chose based on few things which includes notability ' If a topic has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject, it is presumed to be suitable for a stand-alone article or list.' Read more on WP:GNG WP:BLP and many other factors. When i choose to create an article about a person , i make sure that i'm convinced they are notable and they meet the guidelines and unfortunately in your case i'm not yet convinced. However don't loose hope, someone might create another article for you and if you feel its taking long ,there are some editors who accepts paid editing WP:PAID and you can ask for more help at WP:AFCHD .Feel free to ask more questions .Thank you for reaching out. Cheers!Georgiamarlins (talk) 12:58, 17 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Lucas Royalty moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Lucas Royalty, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. PRAXIDICAE🌈 14:38, 20 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the heads up, I will look at and work on the article again. Cheers! Georgiamarlins (talk) 20:23, 20 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Concern regarding Draft:Lucas Royalty

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Georgiamarlins. This is a bot-delivered message letting you know that Draft:Lucas Royalty, a page you created, has not been edited in at least 5 months. Drafts that have not been edited for six months may be deleted, so if you wish to retain the page, please edit it again or request that it be moved to your userspace.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia. FireflyBot (talk) 15:02, 20 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this was the first article that you created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

The page Draft:Lucas Royalty has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seemed to be unambiguous advertising which only promoted a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to have been fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, or you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Liz Read! Talk! 03:38, 20 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Liz, please undelete the draft page Lucas Royalty and move it to my user page or draft space . I will work on it when I find new materials about the subject. Thank you. Georgiamarlins (talk) 13:00, 21 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon

Hello Georgiamarlins. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Georgiamarlins. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Georgiamarlins|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Liz Read! Talk! 03:39, 20 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Diego Tryno.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement of http://search.co.zw/diegotryno/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 13:20, 12 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
