Yvette Del Agua

Hola Gib! Yvette Del Agua... en español. OK, I'll make a translation to English later :) - Al Lemos (talk) 22:52, 1 June 2013 (UTC)

It's online! Could you do the copy editing? Thanks! - Al Lemos (talk) 18:14, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:PDP-Gib logo.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:PDP-Gib logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:23, 4 June 2013 (UTC)

You and Jim Crone seem to differ over where this path starts. He says Jews Gate and you say Martin's Path ..... I don't know.... but he has a source :-) - and I found another... you also say "the steps zigzag" - according to Jim the zig zags are the "steps" Victuallers (talk) 17:03, 10 June 2013 (UTC)

Good luck with the source. When we have it maybe we should point out that there has been doubt about it as there are at least two tourist sites that disagree. This also causes another problem as we have sources that say that Martin's Path was created to get to Martin's Cave .... I'nm guessing this would only be the last bit of the path? Or was Martins Path created before the route up to the ridge batteries. Oh we have 975 new articles! --Victuallers (talk) 18:59, 10 June 2013 (UTC)

Re:Gibraltar by-election, 2013

Thanks, Gib! I'll give an eye on it... - Al Lemos (talk) 21:41, 19 June 2013 (UTC)

Lets hope no one new gets elected Al - dont want to mess up your work!--Victuallers (talk) 07:12, 20 June 2013 (UTC)
One of the four will have to be elected! All but Albert Isola (who has already been a Government Minister in the past) will be new to Parliament. A curious fact is that Albert is Peter Isola's son and Marlene is Sir Joshua Hassan's daughter... --Gibmetal 77talk 2 me 11:20, 20 June 2013 (UTC)
OK, my two pence to the discussion ;) - Al Lemos (talk) 20:18, 29 June 2013 (UTC)
Concluding my participation. That's all, folks! - Al Lemos (talk) 00:04, 30 June 2013 (UTC)

Thought you might like to know that this article, which is now a GA, got 15,480 page views when it was on the Main Page yesterday and Koehler Depressing Carriage got another 18,200 - they're now two out of the top 5 most viewed DYKs this month. Prioryman (talk) 12:05, 20 June 2013 (UTC)

Impressive stats, which reflects the quality of your work. Well done! --Gibmetal 77talk 2 me 11:59, 21 June 2013 (UTC)
Thanks! But just to show it's not all Gib all the time for me... Wesley Warren Jr.. :-) Prioryman (talk) 12:04, 21 June 2013 (UTC)
I had to look up the sources for a photo... That's a load of bollocks if ever I saw one! --Gibmetal 77talk 2 me 13:32, 21 June 2013 (UTC)

History of Gibraltar pic

Thanks for adding File:Gibraltar gate opened.jpg to History of Gibraltar. Unfortunately I don't think we can use it in the article, so I've taken it out - it's a fair use image and as such it certainly wouldn't have been accepted during the FAC process. I've been in this situation before where I've had to take out fair use images at FAC, and the way it's been explained to me is that featured articles are supposed to be our best examples of free content. Including fair use images would run counter to that objective. It does rather limit what we can include, but I wonder if it might be worth asking around to see if anyone has any old photos of the opening that they could contribute? Prioryman (talk) 11:55, 24 June 2013 (UTC)

Flickr pix

Thanks for the feedback Ty. Our helper seems to have turnede from passively giving permission to actively searching out stuff for us. All the ridge battery articles have benefitted tremendously and to have modern pictures of breakneck and spy glass is a real plus for us. Having pictures of restricted areas means that we have more than many commercialo sites have. Do feel free to look at the pictures Ive loaded and fiddle with the. There is a nice pic of sunborn (the floating hotel) which calls for an article. Maybe someone will include it in "Tourism in Gib " as it seems like a major news item. All the best R Victuallers (talk) 07:04, 27 June 2013 (UTC)

Windmill Hill

See what you think - Windmill Hill, Gibraltar. I noticed you'd uploaded an extract from a 1961 military map of Gib, do you have any more of that map? Prioryman (talk) 23:10, 28 June 2013 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Devil's Gap Footpath, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page John Spilsbury (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Bahía de Algeciras/Gibraltar

¡Hola Gibmetal77! The article Clive Finlayson has been proposed for deletion. The proposed deletion notice added to the article should explain why.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — Scott talk 18:14, 16 July 2013 (UTC)
