Black60dragon
I saw you warned User: Black60dragon for edit warring at Template: Green Day, and unsurprisingly he has continued including three reverts in the last 24 hours. I do not know if you just want to block him, or wait to see if he continues. I think this user has definitely got more than enough warnings and notices to stop edit warring, but does not seem to get it. STATic message me! 18:13, 8 August 2013 (UTC)
I have stopped, but I told him to start the discussion. As per policy if you are reverted then "you" should start the discussion not the person reverting. In this case it shouldnt be my responsibility. Besides he is the one that has continually reverted instead of discussing the matter on the talk page. The page stays in the original state until the discussion is final and a decision has been made. BlackDragon 18:16, 8 August 2013 (UTC)

Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
We are currently running a study on the effects of adding additional information to SuggestBot's suggestions. Participation in the study is voluntary. Should you wish to not participate in the study, or have questions or concerns, you can find contact information on the SuggestBot study page.
IMPORTANT CHANGES: We have modified the selection of articles SuggestBot suggests and altered the design to incorporate more information about the articles, as described in this explanation.
Note: All columns in this table are sortable, allowing you to rearrange the table so the articles most interesting to you are shown at the top. All images have mouse-over popups with more information.
Changes to SuggestBot's suggestions
We have changed the number of suggested articles and which categories they are selected from. The number of stubs has been greatly reduced, the number of articles needing sources doubled, and two new categories added (orphans and unencyclopaedic articles). We have also modified the layout of the suggestions and added sortable columns with various types of information about each article. The first two columns are:
- Views/Day
- Daily average number of views an article's had over the past 14 days.
- Quality
- Predicted article quality on a 1- to 3-star scale. Placing your cursor over the stars should give you a pop-up describing the article's quality (Low/Medium/High), current assessment class, and predicted assessment class.
The method we use to predict article quality also allows us to assess whether an article might need specific types of work in order to improve its quality. The work needed might not correspond to cleanup tags added to the article, since our method is not based on those. We have added five columns reflecting this work assessment, where a red X indicates improvement is needed. Placing your cursor over an X should give you a pop-up with a short description of the work needed. The five columns seek to answer the following five questions:
- Content
- Is more content needed?
- Headings
- Does this article have an appropriate section structure?
- Images
- Is the number of illustrative images about right?
- Links
- Does this article link to enough other Wikipedia articles?
- Sources
- For its length, is there an appropriate number of citations to sources in this article?
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. We appreciate that you have signed up to receive suggestions regularly, your contributions make Wikipedia better — thanks for helping!
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please let us know on SuggestBot's talk page. Regards from Nettrom (talk), SuggestBot's caretaker. -- SuggestBot (talk) 11:34, 24 August 2013 (UTC)
Chelsea Manning

Add to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Chelsea_Manning#Edit_request_on_22_August_2013:_Change_Gender_Identity_Disorder_to_Gender_dysphoria (an article talk page... so no idea why this was protected)
The term "gender identity disorder" is no longer used by medical groups including the American Psychiatric Association (APA), the largest psychiatric organization in the world. In May 2013, the APA officially started using "gender dysphoria" instead.

Request #3
Hi, I noticed you have protected Talk:Chelsea_Manning.
Could you please add the following in support of the requested move to Talk:Chelsea_Manning#23_August_2013:
- Support The move to Chelsea is premature, he/she is best known as Bradley Manning and that is currently his/her official name. Space simian (talk) 02:23, 23 August 2013 (UTC)
Request #4
In the section Middle_Initial which is directly above the section Semied that you added, user Phil Sandifer states that she signed her name with the middle initial and user Cerejota posts a link to a story on the Today website that says the same. However, in the image of the actual statement that someone posted a link to earlier in the Talk page, her signature lacks a middle initial. It's the printed name under her signature that has the "E". --anon. 71.183.133.71 (talk) 03:24, 23 August 2013 (UTC)
- Done sorry about the wait --Guerillero | My Talk 03:46, 23 August 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks, and no worries. Now I would like to respond to the comment posted by Pawyilee that includes the link to an article on The Nation's website that states the "E." stands for Elizabeth. The update to the article, which is where her (alleged) middle name is mentioned, makes reference only to the statement released by Manning's lawyer on her behalf, and we know that statement makes no mention of a middle name beyond the one "E." Furthermore, in the same update, the writer of the article refers to the article as a comment. (I suppose he really means commentary.) I don't know much about Wikipedia's policies concerning sources, but an article that's referred to as a comment by its author doesn't inspire confidence in me. Finally, no one appears to have found any other sources for Elizabeth. --anon. 71.183.133.71 (talk) 16:09, 23 August 2013 (UTC)
Request #5
I think it would be appropriate to add a {{Current person}} (or similar) template tag to the page, could you please suggest that for me on the talkpage, thanks. Space simian (talk) 03:52, 23 August 2013 (UTC)
- I have given your account the Confirmed flag account so you can make this request yourself since your posts have been sense-able so far.. --Guerillero | My Talk 04:24, 23 August 2013 (UTC)

Request #6
Hi, I'd like to request that the photo of Chelsea from the lower section be used as the main photo and the military one be moved down somewhere more appropriate. This would be in line with her gender identity. Shezthemann (talk) 07:30, 23 August 2013 (UTC)

Request #7
Please post my statement under the most appropriate section. I oppose reverting to the "Bradley" name Chelsea was very clear of her intentions and even stated, and was printed in leading newspapers and on national television, "I hope that you will support me in this transition. I also request that, starting today, you refer to me by my new name and use the feminine pronoun (except in official mail to the confinement facility)." As she is a living person Wikipedia must respect her wishes. Shezthemann (talk) 08:11, 23 August 2013 (UTC)
- It's been two days now, can you please post my comment or should I ask someone else? Shezthemann (talk) 23:43, 25 August 2013 (UTC)
- Done sorry for the wait --Guerillero | My Talk 01:21, 26 August 2013 (UTC)
Request #8
Please post on my behalf the following objection to the edit request raised by SlimVirgin, in which she requests a reversion of earlier edits harmonizing the dates to the common American style:
I oppose making this edit. I agree that date style needs to be discussed, and that we should avoid making large changes when the article is protected. At minimum, however, we should prefer a single date style over a mix of date styles; and in general the original rationale for the edits is a very good one, that we should use the common American date style in an article about an American figure. In any case, this proposed edit would not be uncontroversial.
Thanks for your assistance. 168.12.253.66 (talk) 17:44, 23 August 2013 (UTC)
