Hey Guyinasuit, you'll be pleased to know that's coming! We're testing something right now that hopefully will give a more "what you see is what you get" editing interface. Thanks!

Hi! I'm serving as the wikipedian-in-residence at the Smithsonian Institution Archives until June! One of my goals as resident, is to work with Wikipedians and staff to improve content on Wikipedia about people who have collections held in the Archives - most of these are scientists who held roles within the Smithsonian and/or federal government. I thought you might like to participate since you are interested in the sciences! Sign up to participate here and dive into articles needing expansion and creation on our to-do list. Feel free to make a request for images or materials at the request page, and of course, if you share your successes at the outcomes page you will receive the SIA barnstar! Thanks for your interest, and I look forward to your participation! Sarah (talk) 02:06, 17 April 2012 (UTC) |

[edit]Thank you for your edit to the disambiguation page HDA. However, please note that disambiguation pages are not articles; rather, they are meant to help readers find a specific article quickly and easily. From the disambiguation dos and don'ts, you should:
- Be familiar with the guidelines and style
- Only list articles that readers might reasonably be looking for
- Use short sentence fragment descriptions, with no punctuation at the end
- Use exactly one navigable link ("blue link") in each entry
- Only add a "red link" if used in an article, and include the "blue link" to that article
- Do not pipe links (unless style requires it) – keep the full title of the article visible
- Do not insert external links or references

ArbCom 2018 election voter message
[edit]Hello, Guyinasuit5517. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Rc cola draft.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Rc cola draft.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.
Also:
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 31 August 2019 (UTC)
