Disambiguation link notification for January 10[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of films in the public domain in the United States, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Henry King. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Proposed deletion of Downsizing (film)[edit]

The article Downsizing (film) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable film, showed at one film festival, did not receive any significant coverage

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Public Domain films/NY Times database[edit]

I noticed you pulling films cited to the New York Times Movie database at List of films in the public domain in the United States. The database has been offline since the start of the month and the links now redirect to the reviews section. You can read more about the issue at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Film#NYT_film_database_seems_to_be_gone. Anyway, per WP:DEADREF it might be better to just tag those entries since the source may be retrievable through the Wayback Machine. For example, the cite for This Is the Army can be retrieved at http://web.archive.org/web/20080423020617/http://movies.nytimes.com/movie/49566/This-Is-the-Army/overview. Betty Logan (talk) 01:56, 21 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Betty Logan:: Not all of them redirect to the reviews section. I have come across six films on that list that redirect to dead links. These six films are mentioned at the talk page. Feel free to discuss it there. Hitcher vs. Candyman (talk) 02:13, 21 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

June 2016[edit]

I assessed your article Karl Francis Hettinger on 2016/06/06. I assigned it a "Start". I have my doubts that it qualifies as "significant", but I don't want to pursue that. If you want a higher rating, you should add material to demonstrate significance. You can delete this message as soon as you read it. --Vicedomino (talk) 04:34, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

UGH![edit]

May I edit the Shared universe page?

Should I remove Ben 10: Alien Force/Ben 10: Ultimate Alien, Transformers: Animated, Star Wars: Clone Wars from the Shared universe#Time Warner section and the edit summary is: "No licensed characters allowed in the universe" and edit it to simply say:

If I were you, I'd ask someone at Wikipedia:Help desk. Hitcher vs. Candyman (talk) 20:10, 15 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • I'd recommend the help desk as well, as I'm not really familiar with that page or how it's set up. Offhand though, the removal seems like it'd be appropriate. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 04:13, 20 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Note that I have requested that a Histmerge of Maximum Ride (2016 film) to Maximum Ride (film) be performed. Your version of this article should always have been edited into Maximum Ride (film) (where the bulk of edits to the article on this topic has always existed), not created as a new separate Maximum Ride (2016 film) article (this action is akin to what is known as a Cut-and-paste move). Maximum Ride (2016 film) should simply be a redirect to Maximum Ride (film) as the latter is the correct title for this topic. Thanks. --IJBall (contribstalk) 08:06, 26 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
