"Emergency services, where exactly is your emergency?"
Hello from Portugal,
please, i am in the process of messaging the user that last edited the article. There is no need for the reference in the infobox (it's already a link down below). Thanks, happy editing --85.242.133.151 (talk) 19:05, 29 March 2017 (UTC)
- I may have missed out of something, but there is nothing wrong with adding the reference tag in the infobox. Citing reliable sources is a core requirement of Wikipedia's work. -ImmernochEkelAlfred(Spam me! (or send me serious messages, whatever you like)) 19:09, 29 March 2017 (UTC)
I see your point, my summary was quite elusive so i understand your reversion. But keep in mind now sources completely different content (site says 28 caps - and three are not sanctioned by FIFA so it seems! - and one goal, box says 29/2). --85.242.133.151 (talk) 20:46, 29 March 2017 (UTC)

Poor word choice
[edit]You changed the article on the Manchester bombing, 2017 Manchester Arena bombing, to say " a 23 years old lone male" which is not typical phrasing. It would be more common to see "a 23 year old lone male." This is somewhat surprising given that your user page says you are "absolutely fluent in English," so maybe it was just a fluke. Please do not make such tweaks which do not improve the ease of comprehending the article. Edison (talk) 14:28, 23 May 2017 (UTC)
- Wow, you really went off on my talk page. I think my comment above was quite appropriate and did not justify your outburst. Edison (talk) 14:38, 23 May 2017 (UTC)
- @Edison:I went off on your talk page? Your comment sounds more like a level 2 warning, which does not assume faith. A level 1 warning starts with a "Thank you for your contribution [...]" or something alike in an attempt not to sound attacking. Your message does not read as if it were assuming good faith. If I had done a larger edit to the article which would have been "not improving the ease of comprehension", I would be fine with your wording, good faith or not. But it is no more than an "s" I forgot to remove in the process of changing the wording to a more appropriate order. One god damn "s" leads you to saying my edit was not contributive.--ImmernochEkelAlfred(Spam me! (or send me serious messages, whatever you like)) 14:49, 23 May 2017 (UTC)
- I do not see what your point is in trying to characterize a friendly suggestion into a "level 2 warning which does not assume faith." I do not template the regulars when a simple note on the talk page will do. If you are copy-editing an article which is getting several edits a minute, it becomes a mess of edit conflicts when one tries to fix someone else's error, so it pays to use "show changes" before hitting "save" and to "view history" and see what the edit actually did. Note that another editor later made it "23-year-old" as was the text in the original news story, and that reads better than "23 year old lone male." On a talk page or an article with a normal sparse rate of editing, such precautions are less needed. So far you have responded with two posts replete with "hell" and "god damn" and lots of passion. I suggest that we drop it at this point. Edison (talk) 15:13, 23 May 2017 (UTC)

Signature
[edit]Can I suggest that you change the color of the beginning of your signature? It's a bit hard to look at and I had trouble reading it. -A lad insane (Channel 2) 03:02, 30 May 2017 (UTC)
- @A lad insane: Originally, it was my very intention that the "EkelAlfred" is more visible than the "Immernoch", since "Ekelalfred" is my RL nickname, though if difficulties arise from my colouring, I am happy to edit it. Yellow is my favorite colour and I like the yellow-red combination. I would appreciate if you could suggest a few alterations that would keep the colour scheme (not necessarily in such positioning as it is in right now) and improve ease to read. Thank you for your notice! -ImmernochEkelAlfred(Spam me! (or send me serious messages, whatever you like)) 20:03, 30 May 2017 (UTC)
- Here's a few ideas...

Template:Suicidethreat
[edit]Hi ImmernochEkelAlfred. I'm afraid I agree that Template:Suicidethreat falls under WP:CSD#T2 as an unambiguous misrepresentation of established policy. Please re-familiarize yourself with the procedures at Wikipedia:Responding to threats of harm. As you noted on the talk page, responding to threats of harm does involve a step where you should contact an administrator; however, you must do this privately, taking care to avoid high-traffic noticeboards such as WP:ANI. I would even avoid user talk pages. Instead, use tools that allow you to contact administrators off-wiki, such as Special:EmailUser or WP:IRC. It is not helpful to draw sensational attention to the issue, especially with big red bolded text and skull-and-crossbones, as oftentimes there are privacy concerns at play too. We want to help the person, not place them into a blinding spotlight for all the community to see. Finally, in the exceptionally rare event that you will have to deal with this issue, surely you will need to provide some additional details, such usernames, diffs, and background information that you could easily and better express in your own words, rather than in a template. "a" or "an" before "historic"
