Fundación bMundi

Hola John Manuel,

Tu amigo,

Gonzalo Alegría Varona Presidente-Fundador Fundación Business Mundi Tel. Fijo Madrid: (00.34) 91.357.64.17 Tel. Móvil, Madrid: (00.34) 625.59.28.90 Tel. Fijo, Lima: (00.51.1) 435.76.01. Tel. Celular, Lima: (00.51.1) 99.29.56.902. Skype: gonmadrid email: galegria@bmundi.org

John Manuel 01:41, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Business Mundi Foundation

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Business Mundi Foundation, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Non notable... two hits on Google... this article and their own website!

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. CIA Graphic image on Wikipedia

John Manuel,

In looking for information on the CIA triad, I came across the web page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Information_security. The CIA traid graphic on that page appears to have been posted by you, and the fact that the image ends with "JMK" indicates that this is perhaps your graphic.

Is this an original graphic, or was it derived from some other source?

If it is an original graphic, do you attach any particular copyright to the graphic, or are others free to use it (or derivations)?

If it is not an original graphic, could you be so kind as to direct me to the original source?

Greg Scheidel scheidelg@saic.com 66.173.249.159 (talk) 01:35, 28 September 2009 (UTC)

I need to answer in here, because you don't have an account as yet. Dear Greg Scheidel, the diagram that depicts the "CIA" is the original source, yes I was the user who posted and who created too. I have released it under GFDL and also Quoting the: "Creative Commons: Attribution ShareAlike 3.0 License. In short: you are free to share and make derivative works of the file under the conditions that you appropriately attribute it, and that you distribute it only under a license identical to this one. Official license." The attribution part means that you need to cited the author to be able to use as it has been described above. Hope this information and statements would answer all your questions. I will follow by an Email with similar content. However, I always like to encourage people to participate more actively in Wikipedia by open their own account, you should consider to open yours. Anyway greetings and have a good time. JMK 20:17, 28 September 2009 (UTC)
Please note there is a typo in the graphic - see "Communications". David DelMonte —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ddelmonte (talkcontribs) 09:57, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

Unreferenced BLPs

Hello JohnManuel! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 401 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Luis Jochamowitz - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. Augusto Polo Campos - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

NYC Meetup: Saturday, December 4

We meet outside by the trees at 5:00 PM.

Our next Wikipedia NYC Meetup is this weekend on Saturday Dec 4 at Brooklyn Museum during their awesome First Saturdays program, starting at 5 PM.

A particular highlight for the wiki crowd will be 'Seductive Subversion: Women Pop Artists, 1958–1968', and the accompanying "WikiPop" project, with specially-created Wikipedia articles on the artists displayed on iPads in the gallery.

This will be a museum touring and partying meetup, so no excuses about being a shy newbie this time. Bring a friend too!

Photo Use

Hello,

I would like to use your photo, "Kew Gardens", on the cover of a CD that I have coming out entitled, "Home Again". I just wanted to request your permission to use the photo.

Dave Sullivan Dave@SullivanSongs.com — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.167.147.109 (talk) 19:09, 22 June 2011 (UTC)

Hi Dave, please by all means, you have my permission, if it fits your music, I am more that enchanted and it is an honor that you could be able to use it somehow. However, whereas there are many of my photos that involves the name of "Kew Gardens", we probably would like to make sure which one you are referring to, I think all of my photos in here are released under a Creative Commons licensed, mostly you can use them while given the attributions to the author, that is all. Thank you, for the the music too. Greetings John Manuel 13:25, 24 June 2011 (UTC)

You are invited to the National Archives ExtravaSCANza, taking place every day next week from January 4–7, Wednesday to Saturday, in College Park, Maryland (Washington, DC metro area). Come help me cap off my stint as Wikipedian in Residence at the National Archives with one last success!

This will be a casual working event in which Wikipedians are getting together to scan interesting documents at the National Archives related to a different theme each day—currently: spaceflight, women's suffrage, Chile, and battleships—for use on Wikipedia/Wikimedia Commons. The event is being held on multiple days, and in the evenings and weekend, so that as many locals and out-of-towners from nearby regions1 as possible can come. Please join us! 1 Wikipedians from DC, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Newark, New York City, and Pittsburgh have been invited.

The article Business Mundi Foundation has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Foundation lacks substantial rs coverage that is independent in gnews and gbooks.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Epeefleche (talk) 22:18, 2 February 2012 (UTC)

Thank you Epeefleche for letting me know about it, in this case, I agree with this deletion John Manuel 04:40, 3 February 2012 (UTC).
