January 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Saint Mary's Academy of San Nicolas, Cebu City has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.facebook.com/pages/Archdiocesan-shrine-of-San-Nicolas-DE-Tolentino-parish-Cebu-city/115001338515916.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 03:10, 15 January 2011 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia, Juicy fruit146! I am N2e and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. Thank you for your contributions. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions check out Wikipedia:Questions, or feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or type {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Thanks for your many recent contributions to the New Mexico State University article. Do note that reliable source citations are needed and that those citations should be {{full}} citations which include things like date of the source material, date accessed, and a title for the source. I have tagged a few of your recent additions with {{full}} to encourage the use of complete citations.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. Again, welcome! N2e (talk) 14:41, 17 January 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of College of Agricultural, Human and Natural Resource Sciences[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on College of Agricultural, Human and Natural Resource Sciences requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Your edits at University of Massachusetts Amherst[edit]

Hi juicy_fruit146! I just wanted to let you know what's going on with the edits you've made in the past day or two on the University_of_Massachusetts_Amherst page. I've been reverting them because, as nearly word for word copies of information from the Umass Web site (such as http://www.massachusetts.edu/umassforyou/umass_amherst.html) they are copyright violations. You can read our policies on copyright right here - Wikipedia:Copyright_violations. This is a serious problem for us, for reasons explained in the policy. If you want to include the information you're adding, I suggest that you substantially reword it and trim it down so that it only uses the facts in the quotations, not the quotes themselves, and make sure it is properly sourced. If you have any questions I'd be happy to answer them, as I know these policies can be confusing. Thanks! Kate (talk) 09:46, 15 June 2012 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:Logo of Arizona State University.jpg)[edit]

Ambox warning blue.svg Thanks for uploading File:Logo of Arizona State University.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:21, 1 November 2012 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use File:Front of Marston Hall.jpg[edit]

Ambox warning pn.svg

Thanks for uploading File:Front of Marston Hall.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that this media item is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails the first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media item could be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media item is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the file discussion page, write the reason why this media item is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 01:07, 2 April 2013 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for September 5[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The Round Up, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Las Cruces (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Your edits[edit]

Thank you for your edits to Rutgers University and other universities. Please note that most of your fellow editors do not have the powers of Kreskin to read the minds of others. For that reason, it's really helpful leave edit summaries, which explain to others why you made the edits you did. For some of your edits, I was able to figure it out. For others, no luck. Thanks for cooperating and joining the team. Magnolia677 (talk) 10:44, 3 July 2014 (UTC)
