A tag has been placed on Amenic Film requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. The article Wordlessness has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable film.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Dear Sarah thank you for your reply.i am not dissapointed with rejections but rather confused as i do not understand the reasons for any of the deletion reasons? Mr.Shokf's works are public and i do know much about it since i work with him and am a partner in the Shif Productions.I am Marie Selva.so much for that and the confusion comes where i almost wrote the same info. about our other pictures by Daryush Shokof and it seems to be OK? another issue is that his name gets scratched from lists that somehow were there for even years and then suddenly not any longer?! who does these things?! Mr.Shokof himself is not even aware of the works we all do about his works through international channels so that more people of informed about the works of this diverse and important "thinker" the least. i tried to just write what is already been talked about the importance of Amenic Filmmaking and yet it is rejected? or the Yekishim philosophy which has it's own site as well, and or him "Shokof" being a Notable director, which he has been often labled as a most original voice in cinema, and yet his Amenic gets elimination?! perhaps, yes, it would be greatest to have you assisting me on these matters. i remain thankful and appreciate your considerations in advance best marie selva

Hello, Kajox. You have new messages at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Articles_for_creation/Help_desk#wordlessness.2C_Amenic_Film.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

Are you yourself Daryus Shokof?

[edit]

If so, I strongly suggest you read Wikipedia:Autobiography.

At this point it appears you may be Shokof or his associate, or just an individual very enthused about his work, but in any case the way you're going about it is not going to work for you. Rather than working within the Wikipedia system, you're bucking against it, which must be quite frustrating. If you slow down your pace and take in some of the advice given to you, you may be able to properly publish these articles you're working on, but if you keep fighting, it's just going to get material deleted.

Have you considered swinging by the Teahouse to get some advice from volunteer mentors? MatthewVanitas (talk) 19:05, 11 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

i rather stop and no as i wrote to you i am marie. thank you anyway best to you marie

Hello, Kajox. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may need to consider our guidance on conflicts of interest.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you.

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. JamesBWatson (talk) 14:34, 16 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Deletion discussion about MOON and 8

[edit]

Hello, Kajox,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether MOON and 8 should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/MOON and 8 .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks, Bensci54 (talk) 22:18, 1 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Yekishim, a page you created, has not been edited in at least 180 days. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

Notice

The article Strange Stranger has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No sign of meeting WP:NFILM. Unreferenced article. Google search for "strange stranger" Shokof finds zero reviews, just database listings. Rotten Tomatoes has zero reviews (I counted 'em twice to be sure!) No Google Books results actually indicating this film.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
