Hi there,

this player already had a storyline in perfectly good conditions, no need to write it again, especially with POV and overlinking, etc. Thanks and happy editing. --Vasco Amaral (talk) 00:38, 5 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Birthplace[edit]

Wikipedia uses in its biographies the historical names of the countries people were born, so please don´t use present-day political entities as country of birth for people born in different historical periods. That is why you were reverted in this edit of yours. Xherdan Shaqiri was born in 1991 and at that time the country he was born in was SFR Yugoslavia, not Kosovo. In case of any doubts you can check the correspondent articles and see in which historical periods they existed. Thank you. FkpCascais (talk) 11:24, 20 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Klaudio, I was kind and I left you an explanation here of why you were reverted. You ignored it and you continued to edit-war, as seen here. You are actually choosing to be a nationalistic-pusher which is not appropriate nor welcomed at Wikipedia project. By WP:BRD, you were bold, you edited the article, then you were reverted with an explanation being left on your talk page. By the policy, you should discuss now (Bold - Revert - Discuss), but instead, you choosed to edit-war. If you choose to revert one more time, you will be breaking the WP:3RR and it may lead you to be blocked. Wikipedia administrators have very litlle patience with nationalistically-based edit-warriors, I can guarantee you that. Now, I explained to you that the country Shaqiri was born is SFR Yugoslavia. I am not writting Serbia, but Yugoslavia, as that was the only existing country in that territory back then. Now, if you have any doubts, you should express them here or at article´s talk page, but if you choose to edit-war again you will be breaking 3RR and I will gladly report you and ask for your editing privileges to be removed. You can also take a look at other biographies around Wikipedia and you will see that they follow the historically accurate names of cities and countries. This was discussed years ago and it is well astablished (see George Washington or Adolf Hitler for exemple). Please be kind and start familiarising yourself with the Wikipedia: Policies and guidelines. This is not a matter of taking sides, neither Wikipedia being "pro-Albanian" or "pro-Serbian", this is a matter of consistency and if you want to contribute to Albania and Kosovo related subjects, you are very much welcomed to, but the way you done it is not the appropriate one and only gives a wrong impression how Albanian editors are nationalist pushers that edit-war and don´t discuss their edits. July 2012[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Lorik Cana. When removing content, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the content has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. The above message is a template but is sent to explain to you that if you would like to make edits on any article, you need to observe the historical accuracy of birthplace information - countries per time of birth of any individual. Kosovo already ranks high on the conversial list because of its status, not universally recognised. To this end, where presenting the republic, we use a special template but there is no need to link this now because it doesn't apply to persons born before 2008. Please also note that whilst amending birthplace details may only be content dispute, it violates a widespread consensus and years of practice by the editing community. Your co-operation here is imperetive. Thanks. Evlekis (Евлекис) (argue) 13:02, 21 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Unhelpful edits[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Though most of your recent edits have been helpful, the edits you made to Granit Xhaka, do not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Other users have tried to compromise, so that the infobox on the article mentions that he was born in Kosovo. Kosovo's status at the time Xhaka was born is a historical fact. Deleting bits from the infobox is disruptive. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you disagree with the compromise, I am sure that other users would be happy to simply say that he was born in Yugoslavia, and not mention Kosovo at all. They have compromised. Please make an effort to be reasonable, or use the talk page to explain what you want, and why you should have it. Thank you.--Toddy1 (talk) 14:38, 5 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Giampaolo Pazzini[edit]

Hey there, I noticed that you made a change to an article, Giampaolo Pazzini, but you didn't provide a reliable source. I’ve removed it for now, but next time you change a player's clubs, you should include a citation about the transfer! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Mentoz86 (talk) 12:30, 21 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Francesco Acerbi[edit]

Please don't add false data to the infobox. Or bring out your reliable source as citation. As i know Acerbi played for "Italy U20 Serie C" (or called U20 Lega Pro or "U20 C") not the main team. Matthew_hk tc 01:13, 25 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Miladsan2013.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think that your page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The article Rildi lumi has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:

All biographies of living people created after March 18, 2010, must have references.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. A tag has been placed on Klaudio hoxha requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. March 2013[edit]

Please do not write or add to an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Hachim Mastour, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://totalfootballmag.com/features/world-football/ac-milans-14-year-old-trequartista-hachim-mastour/.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. Replaceable fair use File:23320ssd0-233200hp2.jpg.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:23320ssd0-233200hp2.jpg.png. I noticed the description page specifies that this media item is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails the first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media item could be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media item is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the file discussion page, write the reason why this media item is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 01:48, 3 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article Hachim Mastour has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NFOOTY... hasn't played at the senior level yet.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Orphaned non-free media (File:23320ssd0-233200hp2.jpg.png)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:23320ssd0-233200hp2.jpg.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:00, 4 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
