Hi, I am not trying to be sticky but in the IT industry you write MalWare, but if you want to keep them in proper English we can do so Malware. Please let me know. AdWare, AdSense, AdWords, this is the lingo...maybe we need to consult with senior editors about this.

Thank you, Igor Berger (talk) 23:50, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for changing it back to MalWare, but will need to change it to Malware, because when internally linking it makes a new article. The original article was made as Malware.

Lets try to keep the IT lingo in text, but for internal linking go with original creation. Igor Berger (talk) 17:51, 22 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I found a nice Hack to fix or Lingo problem, It is a Wiki pipe, MalWare. Look under the Hood! Igor Berger (talk) 12:10, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

To Answer your question...

[edit]

your question was rather old so i dont expect you to read the reference desk anymore. But your question about the micro cube: my best friend and guitarist in my band owns a micro cube. Using the R-Fier setting, he can make pretty much any guitar sound good, so far we've tried a Squier Strat, a Epiphone Les Paul and a B.C. Rich Warlock, and they all sound good. I would not recommend it for live performances, unless its for a very small crowd. hope this helps.the juggreserection (talk) 14:52, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re.:NDEs

[edit]

Some people report that they have seen doctors and nurses doing things that they would not otherwise see, and hear. One guy chided a nurse who moved his dentures while he was DEAD. That BS about the brain failing is a load of shit. Others report being in Hell as well as in Heaven, and being in other places, and reporting what other people were doing while being DEAD. You should get a GOOD radio and check out Coast To Coast AM and related media, and/or look for NDEs and related matter on the 'net. 65.163.115.237 (talk) 03:27, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The "Skeptics" are promoting a agenda in which those in power can fuck up those who are not and not worry at all about paying for their shit at all. 65.163.115.237 (talk) 03:30, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! I removed that page. Owen× 21:20, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello!

[edit]

A few tips on how to handle vandals.

  • If a single IP keeps vandalizing a page, try not to request a page protection, it won't work. Try warning the user 4 times. Then report that user to WP:AIV wich will deal by blocking.
  • If a lot of IP's or editors are vandalizing a article, then you can request a page protection.

Try having tools to handle wikipedia :)

--Lolipod (talk) 01:57, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, another suggestion is to use Twinkle and Friendly. You can enable these by going to your monobook.js and type in this code: {{subst:User:Lolipod/monobook.js}} wich will do a exact copy of my monobook.js. Once you refresh the page, the scripts will be automatically installed and you can look for new pages in real time. Even new tags will appear on top... It will be activated if your user is reasonably old enough to use them. Hope i helped you. It has also a rpp tag wich will request page protection. :)

Rollback

[edit]

After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback can only be used to revert vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback may be removed at any time.

If you do not want rollback, then contact me and I'll remove it. I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, just leave me a message on my talk page. Happy editing! Malinaccier (talk) 21:24, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

monobook.js problem

[edit]

Just go to your monobook.js and delete everything and type in this code again: {{subst:User:Cream/monobook.js}}. It didn't work at all because of my ursup :). Then do a hard refresh by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+F5.

It should look like this: Image:Newpages.PNG. Follow the arrow :0 --Cream (talk) 02:56, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello!

[edit]

Actually, i use Huggle and i judge by the activity that it displays like a ton of anonymous editing... Then i update as needed the level. Feel free to add {{Wdefcon|prefix=User:Herostratus/}} to your userpage. It will show you the status of vandalism. It will look like this:

. Please don't set to 1 because it's like EXTREME amount of vandalism. --Cream (talk) 02:07, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to U2, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --Merbabu (talk) 09:06, 18 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That edit was an accident. I misheard the data on the anti-vandal tool. MalwareSmarts (talk) 16:18, 19 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:SpySheriffPopUp.gif. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 13:38, 4 September 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 13:38, 4 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:SpySheriffPopUp.gif. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 13:33, 11 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:SpySheriffPopUp.gif

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:SpySheriffPopUp.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
