Sir,

I am querying your deletion of the article 'James Fryer'. I do not quite understand why he has been deleted under the 'spam' reasoning, as it was not. he genuinely does swim a 59.38 for the 100m freestyle, and genuinely is on the verge of dutch team selection. he is the equivalent of a college football star, and is known throughout the dutch swimming community. he competes (and regularly beats) fully grown, 25 year old athletes, and holds records and medals from the ISSTs(International School Sports Tournament) European Games.

awaiting your reconcideration,

Faithfully,

Mr Gluk Reset Service is the most advanced BIOS for ZX Spectrum computers. It contains a lot of stuff not present in another ROMS, and so it can't be missed. All the more the non-xUSSR men don't know about this ROM at all! For comparison, Wikipedia contains SIX (6) articles about PC BIOSes, and NONE (0) - about ZX Spectrum BIOSes. There's still a problem with the Meatyard article. If one enters "Meatyard" one goes to the article. If one enters "ralph eugene meatyard" one is told the article has been deleted and is blocked from re posting. Meanwhile after submitting all the permissions stuff to "the committee" I received an email saying the article had been deleted and the link to an explanation simply said it had been improperly cross-linked or something. Can you clarify and help straighted out this mess? J Rhem

Ok, buddy! im rally getting pissed. i was going to donate 1k to wikipedia but now i think ill just go by some more stuff for me! you are being a real dick man! your deleting random articals TAGED with editing! you my frined are an ignorant ass!

I just put up a short piece on human behaviour but it has been deleted with a very short and unsatisfactory explanation. It is the first contribution I have made. I wont be using the site again.

Andrew Breiner is the basis of a new sitcom premiering in early 2009 entitled "Oh, Andrew". I am a producer attending New York University and am actually working on this sitcom. I am in talks with all the people I mentioned and told no lies on my page. Please do not delete this again, as I need it to submit my show to the iMDB tomorrow. Thank you so much.

You obviously did not even do the most cursory research before deleting the article. Deleting the contributions of others IS vandalism. Why leave derogatory remarks on my user page when you don't have the first clue what you are talking about.

How dare you remove the work of others without even confirming the facts first.

You obviously get off on trawling around the site deleting other people's contributions. What a sad little man you are. Don't EVER try this again or I will report you for vandalism.

Get a life.

OK - I give up. Thanks for helping me understand wikipedia. I wish there was a place for me to file the company King Cow somewhere on the site - but maybe this is not the place. Further explanation as to why it was deleted would also be nice... I did everything by the book....Benny-B 04:33, 15 December 2006

Again, stop deleting my articles. This is really annoying.. especialy when I tagged them as being edited. This is not an advertisement, so please stop deleting it. I hope that I've made the article more wikipedia friendly - and someone was helping me edit it when you deleted it. I've had several people ask me why King Cow is not in Wikipedia - because they need a good definition, scope, and understanding of the company. I have no idea how to undelete the article. Please help.

OK - please stop deleting all my articles. I have no idea how to undelete and have not saved to my local computer. If you want to delete something, at least explain why or suggest some corrections. dchoy 05:20, 15 December 2006 (UTC)dchoy[reply]

Nawlin Wiki I have submitting the following to "the committee" Please stop deleteing my article. These ARE my words and I have all the damn permission needed!

3/26/05 Dear Mr. Delpire and Mr. Rivero,

Greetings, after so long a time. I hope you are both well.

As you must know, there is now increased interest in the photography of Ralph Eugene Meatyard here in the United States. A large exhibition with a full catalogue has just closed at the International Center for Photography. Sadly, the new wave of interest is accompanied by the usual repetition of very superficial, inaccurate and/or misleading writing about Meatyard. To help counteract this all-too-familiar wave of myth-making and misinformation, I am writing to ask your permission to post the English language original of my introductory essay to the Photo Poche No. 87 on Meatyard on the Internet Encyclopedia called Wikipedia. Here it would be freely accessible to all interested in information on Meatyard. Lazy journalists might even use the information and thus perhaps more accurate appraisals would come into wider circulation. If the prospect of publishing an English language edition of the Photo Poche seemed likely, I would not make this request, but since it does not seem likely, I hope you will grant this permission. You may review the encyclopedia at www.wikipedia.org With thank, I am sincerely yours, James RhemSubject: Meatyard

From: ISABELLE ROY <i.roy@actes-sud.fr> To: <jrhem@chorus.net>

Dear Mr. Rhem,

Thank you for your news. I am pleased to see that our Photo Poche remains a reliable and serious reference in the approach of Ralph Eugene Meatyard’s work. In 2004, the series was sold to the publishing house Actes Sud, based in Arles, and we are now in a policy of development of international editions (for instance, in 2004, we have published the first 6 titles of the Italian edition, called FotoNote). We are planning to start an English edition in 2006, that is why it will be difficult to give complete satisfaction to your request. However, in order to prove you our good will and give the English-speaking public a serious approach of Meatyard’s work, we suggest you only reproduce some significant excerpts of your text in the online encyclopedia wikipedia.org. This solution should prove satisfying enough for you, while preserving the exclusivity of the original text for a future edition of the Photo Poche in English. Thank you to let us know your thoughts and to inform us about the excerpts you plan on quoting. At last, we would like to know if wikipedia pays reproduction rights so as to enforce the contract we are bound to. I look forward to hearing from you, Best regards,

For Benoît Rivero, Isabelle Roy.

4/4/05 Dear Ms. Roy,

Thank you for your prompt and helpful reply. I am very glad to hear there will soon be an English-language edition of the Meatyard Photo Poche No. 87.

I have made an excerpt of the first portion of my Meatyard introduction. A copy is attached. Will you approve my posting it as part of the Wikipedia online encyclopedia? It is approximately 641 words. Please also send whatever text by way of permissions notice you would like me to post with the excerpt.

Kind regards, James Rhem

4/4/05 Dear Ms. Roy,

I failed to answer your question about payments by Wikipedia for reproduction rights. It is my understanding that Wikipedia is a totally user-created reference and does not pay reprinting fees to anyone.

I will, however, post a prominent "reprinted by permission of . . " notice with ordering information attached if you will send that along to me.

Regards, James Rhem

Subject: Re: Meatyard excerpt From: ISABELLE ROY <i.roy@actes-sud.fr> To: <jrhem@chorus.net>

4/26/05 Dear Mr. Rhem,

Mr. Rivero agrees to let you publish the excerpt on wikipedia.org but requires that you expressely mention that the text is an “extract from the preface, by James Rhem of the Photo Poche #87 Ralph Eugene Meatyard, Actes Sud publishers, France.” Concerning the errors that crept into the final French edition, I think the best is to send Mr. Rivero a detailed list he will keep in his record. Thank you for your follow-up, Best Regards, Isabelle Roy.

4/26/05 Dear Ms. Roy,

Many thanks. You may view the posted excerpt at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ralph_Eugene_Meatyard

Regarding GGMC Article which became protected and deleted by you

[edit]

Please unprotect the article GGMC because is a band which has gotten a fan base in the last couple of months and are becoming more famous every day. please unprotect the page so i could include information about them!

User:EdwinCasadoBaez 22 December 2006

Regarding 'Third Guided Creation'

[edit]

The reason I created the article is because it's about a band which will soon release an album and feel it should be recorded on an online encyclopedia that strives to become unabridged. I thus decided to create the page slightly pre-emptively, for the sake of timely information. I think it is notable, but even if you think it isn't, it will be soon enough, so I thought I'd be the one to create the article, since the band's frontman is my direct friend. I don't see the existence of this article as anything of a problem, unless you see it in violation of 'article 7' of Wikipedia's 'Criteria for speedy deletion'.

Stephen Garcia page is notable

[edit]

I personally think that the Stephen Garcia page is notable because it describes a valid college prospect who is thinking of playing at South Carolina. Having this page available would allow South Carolina Gamecock fans to learn about the prospect easily through Wikipedia.

How to improve

[edit]

OK thanks for the pointers. Doubt we'll get media coverage but I'll get back to you as soon as we do! T

FRUSTRATED! I guess I need to start over

[edit]

Kinda rude to get bumped in the middle of fixing an article, but I've heard that about wikipedia. I guess the article was deleted on the off chance that somebody just might be searching this site for an obscure reference I just happen to be writing about at the same time. I also guess that somebody has to be the rude one or else they'd let anybody contribute here. I promise I'll do my homework nest time. Job well done.--Micktissue 03:39, 3 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Neither you nor DB placer indicated which of the 3 kinds of specific G7 situation applied, nor how its situation is "like" those three. (And i was reverting to pre-tagged version w/ invalid tags.} IMO your action is blatantly out of process and should be remedied by

  1. undeletion, or
  2. retroactively attaching further info to the deleted revisions; this could be done by either undeleting, or creating a new dummy under the title, and in either case then deleting that w/ summary providing the needed info.

Was there any reason why you deleted the prooof article on type mismatches ?, It was a trial page - wouldn't it be reasonable to make such a page ? instead of getting the search page when you make a common typing mistake, you get a page with a link to what you were probably looking for. Apart from that it is a legitimate wiki article about a common typing mistakes. There was no harmful content and no disinformation. There was ONE humorous line written(a stub...you can't help....) - you could have deleted that single line and not the whole article. I did not appreciate the undeletion of River City People. At best it is improper to delete an article to mainspace without a WP:DRV. Myth (warez) - why is it not notable?

[edit]

I wanted to expand on this category http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Warez_groups and this list List_of_Warez_Groups.

My intention was to add at least Myth, Origin, Paradigm and Divine. Myth is just as notable as for instance Class. The article on Class does in fact mention Myth as the most important rival. Likewise the article on DEViANCE mentions DiViNE.

Furthermore, it was my intention to add an article on "ripping" (which is the core-business of Class, Myth, Razor 1911 etc.). And possibly expand on other aspects of The Scene.

I suppose I'll just try again, and add at least one external link :-) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Merix (talkcontribs) 21:48, 8 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]

Your deletion of the article at Snipa!

[edit]

Hello. I noticed that you recently deleted the page listed above. I am curious as to exactly why you did so. The article was not unsalvageable nonsense, gave sufficient context, and was not (in ANY sense of the word) gibberish. If you could justify how you deleted this article under the first general criterion of WP:CSD, it would help me understand the situation. --Dr Excessus 16:25, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the fast response. I would like to point out, however, that this article is not eligible for speedy deletion under A7- it does not describe people, groups, companies, web content, or other gathering of any sort. --Dr Excessus 16:39, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: Actually it does describe non-notable people, Kyle Kalish and Shaun Hixon, the presumed inventors of the game. Fan-1967 16:51, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The inventors were not the subject. For example, an article on Kyle Kalish or Shaun Hixon may be eligible under A7, but it in no sense applies outside of what A7 explicitly describes, which is groups of people. These people are mentioned only tangentially in the article and are in no sense the subjects. To say otherwise is not only to misrepresent Wikipedia policy but also the content of the article. --Dr Excessus 17:10, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Divine Plan of the Ages is a title of a religious work by late 19th c. - early 20th c. pastor Charles Taze Russell. I've created a redirect page, but the actual reference to that title is far down in the article. It does not have its own article. - CobaltBlueTony 17:44, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I saw your redirect. Added the image to the Charles Taze Russell article. Some say that Russell is the author of the image, however others believe the image dates back to the time of Old Testament Habbakuk's vision, 626 BC. It may warrant it's own article; I just noticed it was not on Wikipedia that's why I added it. Miracleimpulse 17:58, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

During the AfD for Oklahoma Coalition of Independents (OKIES), you speedied this article. Just wanted to let you know that it was recreated, and is now tagged again for speedy, but has been sitting so tagged since yesterday. Akradecki 16:55, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi; I warned him second; but I tagged him first.--Anthony.bradbury 23:47, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think.--Anthony.bradbury 23:49, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Whats the problem?

[edit]

I created a page called "Releen", and you deleted it because it wasnt notable, so I put some notable sources, and you deleted it again, what do you want from me? Savequit 03:49, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Devil and Lil'D

[edit]

Hi, you removed the speedy deletion nomination from this article that has already been deleted twice only to be reposted. Unfortunately you didn't leave a comment explaining your reasons. Please let me know. Akihabara 06:41, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This AfD is 10 days old, could you close it out? Thanks Tubezone 13:57, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ooops, ignore that, Mailer Diablo closed it 3 minutes earlier. Tubezone 14:02, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Pinky Bass

[edit]

I left a hang on whats up? anyone googling Pinky Bass would see how important she is to art and pinhole photography Uusually if I leave a hang on I can get my info on here You are quick on the draw for whatever reason.

Artsojourner 17:59, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Also I have read alot of peoples comments about you and your fast quick way of deletions. Its not nice I aussure you, especially after leaving a {{hang on}} that should in and of itself protected it. I dont need a handslap either. You seem to be interested in only yourself I may report you for vandalism. Artsojourner 18:07, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The template should have done no such thing, there was no "handslap", and I don't see how Nawlinwiki seems only to be interested in Nawlinwiki. Please see this. -- Hoary 22:47, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Is there a way to change your user name? WmCliff 22:45, 17 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You ticked someone off

[edit]

Seems like you really got this guy's attention ... he created the soon-to-be-speedied NAWLINWIKI:

this guy has no fucking life. he goes all around wikipedia fucking people over cause he is a douche bag. he clearly has a rod up his ass and has no idea how to have a good time. he needs to get out of louisiana, his parents basement, and meet some real fucking people. he wants to get all these fucking stars just like he used to in first grade cause it makes him feel FUCKING FABULOUS. if he can't see the worth of fabulous tyler, he can fuck himself. THERE'S NOTABLE FOR YOU BITCH.

Thought you'd be amused. Daniel Case 04:30, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I see you already blocked him. Daniel Case 04:33, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Woodseats Venture Unit article

[edit]

The article Woodseats Venture Unit is in the process of being written. I am gathering information from other current members and ex-members in order to build up a genuinely informative article about the group. WVU is not a normal scout group, it is a very successful and nationally famous one. WVU is the group that started the Scout Post which was a successful fundraising charity for over a decade. More will be written for this article and it will be more informative rather than general to members. I realise this is what you do, but I feel I should be given the chance to expand this article; I have photographs, images and external links to add. The only reason I submitted it like that was to check that the preview was realistic. I hope you understand. spk_ben 04:32, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

Possible re-blocking

[edit]

This user (User talk:65.96.44.10) has been warned numerous times about vandalism. It appears that he/she has been blocked before. Would it be wise to re-block them? Ilikefood 17:20, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. You did some work on this article. I'm now proposing a redirect to Pale Ale, similar to the original redirect. American strong ale is a variation on pale ale, and the different variations are best initially discussed in the main article. Later, if enough information grows, we can split it off, but for now it might be best to allow it to grow in a place where attention could be concentrated. SilkTork

Re: SiteBar

[edit]

Dear NawlinWiki! Thanks for your contribution to SiteBar page. I apologize to do something wrong. I have just realized there are already some pages about other open source solutions and wanted to add a page about SiteBar. Note this is an attempt to write my first contribution. I will try to do it again in a less offending way. Give me some time. Thanks. --Petr V 22:39, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Short note: I have moved to page to User:Petr V/SiteBar, to give him a chance to improve the article. Aecis Dancing to electro-pop like a robot from 1984. 23:27, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Don't blank warnings even if they were improperly given?

[edit]

First of all, the LaDainian Thompson guy isn't me, it must have been some other guy who had the IP address, so why shouldn't I delete it? Second of all, if you actually looked at the conversation, you'd realize that the person who made the first edit to my page did so in error--she reverted an edit of mine without actually reading it, assuming I was a vandal for no reason when all I did was reorder a disambig. She admitted she was wrong (sort of). So I'm going to reblank that page, because the first conversation has nothing to do with me, and the second was begun under a false assumption. Thank you.

Ancestry.com

[edit]

I see your an ancestry.com subscriber too. I would have to say that ancestry and my New York Times archive subscription are the two best tools for writing biographies. It gives you a chance to make a real contribution, and not just cutting and pasting from other webpages. Are you for or against adding siblings and children's names to biographies? --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) 03:13, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ooops! Henry Otto Wittpenn born October 23, 1871 according to the New York Times. It is always best to qualify dates from primary documents with "most likely born ..." or "probably born ..." until they are confirmed with another source. --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) 04:04, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Blocks

[edit]

A few days ago, you blocked the user Momoj as the account was being used purely for vandalism. I believe that the user is back under the name Jomomm, which is practically "Momoj" backwards and being used to vandalize the same article (Best Buy). I was wondering if there is anything you can do about this. Thanks, Bgold4 06:33, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fantasia (Fantasia album)

[edit]

I'm starting to think I'm making an error here. A paragraph concerning the sales on December 12th is being repeatedly blanked by IPs. Is there a valid reason this is being blanked that I'm not understanding and which the IPs are not telling me? Or should I continue reverts and possibly request page protection? -WarthogDemon 21:31, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Big bust list move

[edit]

Hey, I noticed that after User:Too Human moved the list and I moved it back, you were marked as deleting the other one or some such--did I mess up the revert? Should I have done something different? Endersdouble 22:07, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion of Justin Gauvin article?

[edit]

How can you possibly justify rapidly deleting an article (Justin Gauvin) that is less than an hour old, is still being written, was not complete and only subjectively eligible for an A7? It appears from this page you delete a lot of people's work without a great deal of consideration. Justin Gauvin is a popular and valuable contributor to Internet political dialogue and his article deserved a chance to explain this and his work. The only reason the article was cut short was because I was replying to the unfairly applied speedy delete flag in the article's talk page. I will pursue this article and I think you should consider a more considered and judicious approach to deletion in future. Tubusy 22:29, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I believe I tagged the article as meeting criterion A7 in the first place, because it contained no assertion of notability. If you feel this was done unfairly, you may contest the process at WP:DRV. Mytildebang 23:04, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia:Criteria_for_speedy_deletion: "Note that some Wikipedians create articles in multiple saves, so try to avoid deleting a page too soon after its initial creation". You've got to give articles a chance to develop. An hour or so is incredulous. Speedy deletions a great for "vandalism" spam and "attack pages" but it's overkill to delete an article written in good spirit while within an hour of it's first draft while the sources and relevancies are still being pulled together. I understand you deleted in good faith in reference to A7, but it goes against the spirit of the wiki to not grant articles any chance to develop. In this regard, where can I go to try and influence the policy of Wikipedia:Criteria_for_speedy_deletion? Thanks. Tubusy 23:18, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Request for comment on my campaign to become an administrator

[edit]

Hello NawlinWiki, I hope that you are having a happy holiay season. I have recently been nominated to become an administrator here on Wikipedia. I am asking that since I have worked with you in the past that you stop by my nomination page and consider entering a vote, hopefully in support of my becoming an administrator.

Hi there. I noticed you rolled back my edit to the Bonney Eberndu article[2]. Did you notice that I had edited it to remove copyright violations of the sources cited? Your edit summary didn't explain your reasoning, so I'm not going to blindly revert you. NickelShoe (Talk) 04:17, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A Redundant Subpage

[edit]

Hello NawlinWiki, recently I had another spoofer come along called User:Persian Poem Girls. I was sifting through some of their contributions and came across this page which contained the coding for a spoof signature. Since this user has already been blocked would it be too much trouble to ask that you delete this redundant subpage? I appreciate your time, thanks.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 01:16, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I read the pupil article and I've noticed the author didn't cite the whole article. One of the paragraphs that sparked me was: "When bright light is shone on the..........also, the pupil will constrict if a person sees an object or a person which arouses anger or loathing". This is quite a statement. with no proof and with no evidence in the article (and no reference) Is it 'by the wiki book' to put the "article not cited/referenced" banner, where such an article?, if so then would you please show me how is it done (or link me to info.)? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Eshywiki (talkcontribs) 22:00, 23 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]

Deleting page "Robby"

[edit]

You deleted the page about "Robby" which i, actually, my son, created, for no reason. Robby is, as we wrote, not a real thing, but a friend of Pingu the penguin, but that is ok since there are other pages concerning non existant beings on wikipedia. It is intelligent not to be too fast to delete things just because one doesn't like them, or know about them.

Deletion summaries

[edit]

Hi, I have noticed that you often provide only a very short abbreviated deletion summary when you delete pages (like "a7" "nn-bio" and similar). Please keep in mind that most users do not know all of Wikipedia's speedy deletion criteria by heart. Please consider providing a brief "plain English" explanation without relying exclusively on "CSD jargon". Additionally linking to the relevant criteria so people can read it in full can also be useful, for example [[WP:CSD#A7]]. This will help a "layperson" better understand why something was deleted when looking at the deletion log.

Most browsers have a autocomplete or other "form filling" features that allow pre-prepared boil plate texts to be inserted into web forms with just a few keystrokes. This is useful for inserting detailed deletion summaries without having to type out the same things over and over. Please consider looking into it. Thanks. [3]. -- Longhair\talk 06:12, 31 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why did you remove the template? According to Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines#How to use article talk pages, "Talk pages are not for general conversation. Keep discussions on the topic of how to improve the associated article. Irrelevant discussions are subject to removal." The talk page has already been deleted several times. --NE2 00:16, 1 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
