April 26th
Hi Nici! It may have seemed like practice, but I was actually attempting to add in an occurrence to the day. Sorry if it looked like spam. JedBartlet1776 (talk)
Hi Nici. I was attempting to input a day proclaimed by YouTube personalities Brady Haran and CGP Grey. In episode “😑🔫” of their podcast “Hello Internet” at around the 35:15 mark, they proclaim April 26th as National Hotstopper Day. They have been spreading awareness of the potential of injuries from hot drinks since 2015 (here’s a blog post about that: http://www.bradyharanblog.com/blog/2015/10/19/hotstopper-awareness), and I was attempting to add it to the page. I do not yet have the ability to create Wikipedia pages. If I added information the the “Hello Internet” wikipedia Page, could I link that and add the event to the page? Or could I add it to the “Paper Cup” Wikipedia page in the section about lids and hotstoppers? Thanks for all your help! — Comment added by JedBartlet1776 (talk • contribs) 12:52, 27 April 2018 (UTC)
Hi!
Hi there, apologies, I'm new to Wiki and am not quite sure how to work this in terms of the formatting in these! Wanted to reach back out about the Dora The Explorer page as I was trying to add this comment to the initial thread, but it said that I deleted a comment. Thanks for changing that she is of Latina heritage, however it is also inaccurate and has not been stated that she is American as well. Can you please revise to say "The series centers around Dora, a seven-year-old Latina girl" instead? Thanks a lot for your help! Tiffany.chao (talk) 22:35, 1 May 2018 (UTC)

Sources needed for Days of the Year pages
I see you recently accepted a pending change to May 24. I looked for a source for this date of birth in the Layne Beachley and it was unsupported by any source there either.
You're probably not aware of this change, but Days of the Year pages are no longer exempt from WP:V and direct sources are required for additions. For details see the WikiProject Days of the Year style guide. I've gone ahead and un-accepted this edit and backed it out.
Please do not accept additions to day of year pages where no direct source has been provided on that day of year page. The burden to provide sources for additions to these pages is on the editor who adds or restores material to these pages. Thank you. Toddst1 (talk) 14:47, 24 May 2018 (UTC)

Clive Palmer's latest anouncement
Hello, I've left a message on Talk:Titanic II regarding Palmer's latest announcement on the project.Blue Riband► 12:00, 27 September 2018 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Category:Moldovan female professional wrestlers requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Becky Lynch for FA
Hello there! I noticed that you have helped promote Becky Lynch to GA. I consider that a great achievement since she wasn't that notable at that time. But now, she had come a long way and I am trying to promote it to FA. So far, I have shortened a lot of the text, mainly removing [1] as a source since it's no longer reliable according to WP:PW. Your help will be much appreciated. Thanks! Ikhtiar H (talk) 11:32, 27 December 2018 (UTC)

Semi-protected edit request on 27 April 2019
Adding this here in the hopes to streamline an ongoing issue. UFC on ESPN 3 was an event planned for April 27, 2019 however due to a change in broadcast plans the event was moved to ESPN+ (the ESPN streaming service). As a result, the event is no longer referred to as UFC on ESPN 3. All ESPN+ cards carry a naming convention of UFC Fight Night: Fighter vs. Fighter, UFC on ESPN+ #, and UFC Fight Night ### (the Fight Night label began prior to the ESPN era, when the UFC aired on FOX).
The event formerly known as UFC on ESPN 3 should be titled UFC Fight Night: Jacaré vs. Hermansson (also known as UFC on ESPN+ 8 or UFC Fight Night 150). Currently the UFC Fight Night 150 part has been repeatedly removed when added to the event page on Wikipedia. Another mod instigated an edit war because he felt it was too much work to change individual fighter pages referencing the event. However, putting the wrong label on this and other events means Wikipedia's information is invalid. Work is work, sometimes it's hard.
Sources showing the event is in fact UFC Fight Night 150:
https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2833258-ufc-fight-night-150-staff-picks-predictions-for-jacare-vs-hermansson#slide0 https://www.mmamania.com/2019/4/27/18517129/ufc-fight-night-150-card-jacare-souza-jack-hermansson-full-fight-preview-middleweight-fll-mma https://www.sherdog.com/news/articles/How-to-Watch-UFC-Fight-Night-150-153437 https://www.forbes.com/sites/brianmazique/2019/04/26/ufc-fight-night-150-date-time-tv-live-stream-info-and-viewership-competition/ https://www.cbssports.com/mma/news/ufc-fight-night-150-odds-predictions-proven-mma-insider-picks-jacare-vs-hermansson-hardy-vs-smoliakov/
The fallout of this change in UFC broadcast plans is that subsequent events now need to be re-numbered as well.
The UFC event in Ottawa, ON that was UFC Fight Night 150 should now be known as UFC Fight Night 151 (also UFC on ESPN+ 9) The UFC event in Rochester, NY that was UFC Fight Night 151 should now be known as UFC Fight Night 152 (also UFC on ESPN+ 10) The UFC event in Stockholm, Sweden that was UFC Fight Night 152 should now be known as UFC Fight Night 153 (also UFC on ESPN+ 11) The UFC event in Greenville, SC that was UFC Fight Night 153 should now be known as UFC Fight Night 154 (also UFC on ESPN+ 12) The UFC event in Sacramento, CA that was UFC Fight Night 154 (it was only ever reported to be 155 in matter of fact) should be known as UFC Fight Night 155 (also UFC on ESPN+ 13)
All of those will also be known as UFC Fight Night: Fighter vs. Fighter (depending on who is in the main event, i.e. UFC Fight Night: Iaquinta vs. Cowboy = UFC on ESPN+ 9 = UFC Fight Night 151).
A list of the correct Fight Night ##s is available via https://www.sherdog.com/organizations/Ultimate-Fighting-Championship-UFC-2
Sherdog is one of the leading sites in terms of record keeping for mixed martial arts and is often consulted by promotions.
This could have been easily corrected a week ago and pages referencing the events corrected then, however it has dragged on for no good reason. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.226.1.232 (talk) 19:53, 27 April 2019 (UTC)
- How does adding another section on this matter to a previously completely uninvolved talk page constitute streamlining exactly?
- Wikipedia does not have "mods" and I have absolutely no intention of getting involved in an edit war.
- I highly suggest you institute a centralised discussion at WT:MMA (the talk page for the MMA project). Wikipedia runs on WP:CONSENSUS.
- I cannot stress how little I care about MMA. I responded to an edit request that was unclear. That is the sole extent of my interest in this issue. Feel free to not keep me informed. NiciVampireHeart 21:45, 27 April 2019 (UTC)
- Mod, editor, the end result is the same (as is the power trip in some cases, apparently). This has now been resolved and pages are accurate. No further action is required. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.226.1.232 (talk) 11:55, 28 April 2019 (UTC)

Hi. As in Violating WP:NPOV, WP:OR and WP:SYNTH? I want to add new info for the page, but an admin says it still violates WP:NPOV, WP:OR and WP:SYNTH and I don't see why it violates these polices, as everything is clearly stated in the references. Would you please help me check out what sentences violate the policies, as he is unwilling to tell me? Thank you very much. --Perry520 (talk) 16:05, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
