Hi, Creating Africa's first and only AI VC fund is a monumental achievement by any measure. Otherwise, someone else would have done it before now... More importantly, it's vital information for the Africa's underfunded tech start-ups to know more about potential source of funding... It's also inspirational news for Africans (1.3 billion people) and other developing regions... Everiperdia, which apparently has a similar voting mechanism to Wikipedia, have a profile on him...

Thanks... Nneka Francis (talk) 15:51, 1 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for January 9[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Impact investing, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Equity (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Minor edits[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to List of venture capital firms, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". the edit you reverted was neither of these. UnitedStatesian (talk) 17:43, 10 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, all I did was add references and locations to existing entries... I missed out the brackets to link an entry to its page when cut and pasting it from my editor, but that’s corrected now... Best... Nneka Francis (talk) 17:58, 10 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Right, but those edits are not "minor" as Wikipedia defines them, so please leave the "minor" checkbox unchecked whilst you are making them. UnitedStatesian (talk) 18:50, 10 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

January 2020[edit]

Please stop attacking other editors, as you did on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Xecced. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Additionally please read WP:BADGER and stop doing it. Praxidicae (talk) 18:54, 10 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, I merely pointed out an observational fact... If it isn't true, disprove it. After all, this is meant to be a civilized forum of debate, and Wikipedia's goal is to be egalitarian...

However, I'm getting the same comment, slightly different wording, at nearly the same time, giving the impression of suckpuppeting or collusion...

No, you're commenting on editors and not content and you're making personal attacks, stop or this will wind up at WP:ANI. Also your insistence that someone prove their ethnicity is tantamount to requesting someone out themselves to satisfy you. Stop or the next step will be a block. Praxidicae (talk) 19:11, 10 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

January 2020 2[edit]

You have been blocked for 72 hours for your outrageous and evidence-free accusations of racism,[1] (that's your "observational fact" — how exactly did you "observe" the ethnicity of the users !voting Delete in the discussion?) sock puppetry[2] and collusion.[3]. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Bishonen | talk 20:50, 10 January 2020 (UTC).[reply]

@Bishonen: This account is barely two weeks old and was created with the intention of promoting Muhtari Adanan, first with an article that was deleted and now Xecced, in which he is prominently mentioned. Both AfD discussions have involved badgering and attacking of editors, and I can't see this behavior changing once the ban expires. Therefore a permanent block is perhaps in order. sixtynine • whaddya want? • 06:49, 11 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, it's an SPA, and very badly behaved. I might well have gone for an indefinite block per WP:NOTHERE. But being new may also be seen as a reason to go for a short block per WP:BITE. They're not a vandal, and those early indefs are mainly for vandalism-only accounts. Oh, I don't know. You make a good point, sixtynine, but on the other hand assuming good faith with the first block can't do any harm, the way I look at it. Anybody who sees them persist in the same behavior after the block is welcome to alert me. If you had e-mail enabled, I might say more. Bishonen | talk 10:45, 11 January 2020 (UTC).[reply]
@Bishonen: I know this is pretty late and probably unnecessary but you may want to consider indef blocking this account for sock/meatpuppetry per WP:DUCK. If you look at User talk:Jamerutl and Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Jamerutl/Archive, they both wrote about the same two subjects and also used the same reasoning why the articles should not be deleted. I don't think this editor will ever use this account again but a block might be appropriate just in case. Best, GPL93 (talk) 16:09, 20 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
You know, GPL93, I had a feeling from the start that this account would most likely be abandoned if it was blocked at all. But I might as well indef, as you say. Bishonen | talk 16:26, 20 January 2020 (UTC).[reply]

Vehemence[edit]

The vehemence I've seen raises a question of WP:COI and WP:PAID. Please read and if applicable heed. Thanks, -- Deepfriedokra 16:05, 12 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
