Another AWB request
Last month, you helped me with populating Category:British military personnel killed at the Battle of the Somme via AWB. Could you help with another (bigger) project? Several hundred articles currently transclude {{Ohio-geo-stub}}, but each of the state's 88 counties (comparable to Australian LGAs) has its own stub template, e.g. {{LickingCountyOH-geo-stub}}. If I gave you a list of articles to work on, could you use AWB to replace the statewide stub template with the appropriate county stub template on each article? See [1] for an example of what I mean; by using the list, a bot would have an easy time doing it, but I don't know enough about AWB to know whether you could do it easily. Nyttend (talk) 14:48, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
- @Nyttend: Yeah, sure, with a list I could easily do this task. I'd be happy to help, when you're ready just ping me and I'll make the edits for you. Omni Flames (talk) 21:55, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks! See User:Nyttend/sandbox for the complete list. Each line has a link to a separate page, a dash, and the county name; on each page, AWB should replace {{Ohio-geo-stub}} with {{NAMECountyOH-geo-stub}}, e.g. *[[Erhart, Ohio]] — Medina means that AWB should visit that article, remove {{Ohio-geo-stub}}, and add {{MedinaCountyOH-geo-stub}} in its place. There's always a tiny chance that the stub's been modified (I updated a few of these pages, and I think I removed each updated one from the list, but I could have forgotten to remove some of them), so nothing should be done to a page that doesn't actually have {{Ohio-geo-stub}} somewhere. Nyttend (talk) 22:29, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
- Okay, thanks for the list. I'll probably be able to get it done sometime this week. Omni Flames (talk) 22:35, 15 August 2016 (UTC)

pageswap script for convenience
Hi Omni Flames, I've noticed that at some point, you performed round-robin page moves. Thought I'd share a script here (js) that semi-automates page swaps for convenience, if you ever encounter the scenario. You'd simply click "Swap" and enter a page destination, the script performs the 3 moves as necessary (saves time having to manually go through the move form 3 times). (It doesn't correct redirects afterwards, that's still manual)
Anyway feel free to adapt this script as you see fit, cheers :) — Andy W. (talk · ctb) 02:41, 25 August 2016 (UTC)

You had something to say...
I remember you had something to say about canvassing equal numbers of people from keep and delete in previous AfD discussions at some afd about a bus article. Have a look at this then, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/MacGyver the Lizard. Let's see whether you really meant what you said. jcc (tea and biscuits) 21:43, 22 August 2016 (UTC)
- @Jcc: I'm not sure what you're trying to ask me here. If I think that's canvassing? Yes, I do believe that's canvassing. The article creator deliberately went out of their way to notify people based on their votes in a previous discussion. Instead, they should've notified all the participants in the discussion. Omni Flames (talk) 22:02, 22 August 2016 (UTC)
- So my point being, shouldn't someone raise that point with her? I don't want to, because I believe what they did was right. Hence why I asked you. My last sentence was to ask whether you had changed your position since. jcc (tea and biscuits) 22:07, 22 August 2016 (UTC)
- And response? jcc (tea and biscuits) 10:28, 23 August 2016 (UTC)
- @Jcc: Well yes, I do still stand by my previous stance on the matter. It's my reading of the guideline that the views of the group notified should be proportionate to the views of whatever group you got those users from. Whether or not the numbers are equal doesn't matter. As for raising the point with her, maybe I will. I don't have time to do it now, but I'll look into it in the morning. Omni Flames (talk) 12:39, 23 August 2016 (UTC)
- Courtesy reminder; but if you're too busy, just let me know and leave it. jcc (tea and biscuits) 10:31, 25 August 2016 (UTC)
- Sorry jcc, completely forgot about this. I have left a comment on the AFD. Omni Flames (talk) 10:38, 25 August 2016 (UTC)

I'm curious, what do you see that makes Luka gvasalia significant? It is a horrendously written biography full of un-sourced claims. Not to mention the article references "she" while the picture is clearly of a male. (Unless this is a gender identity issue which I would absolutely respect, but I see no indication of that.) Additionally the page creator, Haki13 has copied and pasted the exact same text on both their user page AND their talk page... Seems pretty darn promotional to me. What am I missing? --Zackmann08 (Talk to me/What I been doing) 23:33, 26 August 2016 (UTC)
- Hi, just to clarify, I'm not saying that I believe the article shouldn't be deleted. In fact, I think it should be deleted. I removed the speedy deletion tag because the page doesn't fit the criteria at WP:A7. It does make a credible claim of significance, take a look at the last sentence. The fact that it has no references is irrelevant to A7. I would recommend using WP:PROD instead. Omni Flames (talk) 23:43, 26 August 2016 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for August 28
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Fenwick manuscript, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Robert Reid. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Treehouse of Horror
You have just orphaned Treehouse of Horror (The Simpsons episode). Only two talk pages link to it. – wbm1058 (talk) 12:17, 30 August 2016 (UTC)
- @Wbm1058: I'm aware of that, and I was going to fix it with AWB last night but I ran out of time and I figured it wasn't so urgent that it needed to be done right away. I'll fix it tonight, sorry for the inconvenience. Omni Flames (talk) 21:40, 30 August 2016 (UTC)
