Disambiguation pages
[edit]Please note that disambiguation pages like Saul (disambiguation) are meant to help readers find a specific existing article quickly and easily. For that reason, they have guidelines that are different from articles. From the Wikipedia:Disambiguation dos and don'ts you should:
- Only list articles that readers might reasonably be looking for
- Use short sentence fragment descriptions, with no punctuation at the end
- Use exactly one navigable link ("blue link") in each entry that mentions the title being disambiguated
- Only add a "red link" if used in existing articles, and include a "blue link" to an appropriate article
- Do not pipe links (unless style requires it) – keep the full title of the article visible
- Do not insert external links or references - Wikipedia is not a business directory

The Violent moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, The Violent, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Warning - sourcing and notability standards
[edit]Hello there. I’m Serge, an admin here on Wikipedia. I appreciate your interest and enthusiasm for creating rock song articles. It’s something I focus on as well. That said...I think you need to slow down and learn a bit more about Wikipedia. You’re creating a lot of under-developed articles that don’t meet our standards, and it’s causing a lot of extra work for other editors.
Please read WP:NSONGS. There’s a lot of good info there, but one particularly important part is that we don’t generally want these extremely brief 1-3 sentence song articles. If you don’t have anything more to say about a song, then it doesn’t need it’s own article - that basic info is better to just be mentioned in the album article.
Anyways, please take this to heart - if you keep making these tiny articles that dont show how WP:NSONGS or the WP:GNG, then people are going to keep undoing your work, which is just going to be a waste of time and yours. And could even get you blocked from editing temporarily.
(On a personal note - it’s pretty easy to stay away from these issues. My personal philosophy is don’t publish an article until you can find 4-5 sources talking about a song from the WP:RSMUSIC list, and can write a solid 2-3 paragraphs on it. If you can, people will rarely challenge your decision to make an article. If you can’t, then you should question whether it’s worth making. However, unlike the rest of what I’ve said, this isn’t a rule or anything, just my personal tip.)
Let me know if you have any questions. I’d much rather have your help in writing good articles than see you go through trouble creating weak articles. Thanks. Sergecross73 msg me 16:26, 7 November 2020 (UTC)
- Hey, second warning about this. I see you’ve continued to do this since the last warning. Is there something I can help you understand regarding this? Sergecross73 msg me 20:06, 10 November 2020 (UTC)
- I see this has happened again since the last warning. It’s considered disruptive to keep having other editors keep having to address the issues you’re creating. If I catch it again, you’re going to receive a short block from editing. Sergecross73 msg me 03:11, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
- I’m glad you’ve stopped with the poorly sourced song articles, but I’m concerned that you still haven’t stopped with the unsourced additions to articles. Is there something I can do to help you with this? The alternative would be to block your account, and I’d rather not do that. The whole website’s premise is based on WP:V. Read it well. If you need help with reference/source usage, read up on WP:REFB. Opting out is not an option though. Sergecross73 msg me 20:52, 30 December 2020 (UTC)
- Okay, you’ve ignored me and added unsourced info again. So, you’re blocked for 3 days. Sergecross73 msg me 05:45, 1 January 2021 (UTC)
- Alright, you've exhausted all your chances and you still arent using sources. You're blocked for 1 month unless you respond here saying you'll commit to using sources moving forward. (You can still edit your own talk page while blocked.) Sergecross73 msg me 03:35, 14 January 2021 (UTC)

Ignoring talk page concerns
[edit]It seems that despite repeated cordial requests from Sergecross73 to source your edits as well as warnings from other editors to do the same, you have chosen to flat out ignore these and you continue adding unsourced info to articles regardless. As has already been noted, to continue on this path will lead to your editing privileges being removed. Please stop adding unsourced information to Wikipedia, your edits are highly disruptive! February 2021
[edit]Alright, you are now blocked a third time for refusing to add sources when you add content to Wikipedia. It's 3 months or the instant you promise to start using sources. WP:PING me if you decide you want to follow the most basic of rules on Wikipedia. You can literally end your block at any point if you do. Just say, "Okay, I'll start using sources" and your block will be listed (as long as you don't add unsourced content again.) The ball is in your court. (And WP:REFB shows how easy it is to do.) The article PsychoSexual has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
poorly referenced non-notable band
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}

Blocked
[edit]I've warned and blocked you countless times for not using sources. It seems you're back to doing that again (in fact, I'm not sure you ever stopped, I think I just stopped watching for it.) Your account is blocked indefinitely. I'd usually say that I'd unblock you if you argued here that you'd learn how to use sources, but you were stubborn enough to ride out a 3 month block rather than learn how to use sources earlier in the year, so I doubt you're interested now. Which is a shame because it's incredibly easy to do. Sergecross73 msg me 16:01, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
