Deaths in 2022
To explain my revert of your edits more, I'll post here the talk page FAQ answer for why sources are kept bare: "Each month, over 1000 deaths are reported. If the "cite news" template were used in each entry, the page would be slower to load as each instance of the template is rendered. Editors have decided by consensus to use a simpler cite in the form [1]". Rusted AutoParts 16:28, 12 April 2022 (UTC)
- In terms of consensus for bare referencing, the reasonings have been gone over countless times, but you might like to visit Talk:Deaths in 2022/Archive 1#Previous years citations being filled in. to see part of the response to the last editor who wished to make changes to it. Thanks. Ref (chew)(do) 19:14, 12 April 2022 (UTC)

The article G. A. Campbell (disambiguation) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Disambiguation page not required (WP:ONEOTHER). Primary topic article has a hatnote to the only other use.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 11:22, 17 April 2022 (UTC)
Please explain deletions

Short descriptions
I see you've been adding short descriptions to articles—thanks for this work, but can I ask you to please take another look at Wikipedia:Short description? The descriptions should be "no more than about 40 characters", with very exceptional circumstances needed to use more. I noticed that you exceeded this on Gender-blind.
The rationale for short descriptions is that a reader using the search bar needs to determine either "yes, this is the topic I'm looking for", or "no it isn't", as quickly as possible (fractions of a second). As such, "none" suffices as a short description in many cases, and in other cases the aim is to describe the field of a topic, not to define the title. This is a common point of confusion, so let me know if you have any follow-up questions. — Bilorv (talk) 19:41, 1 May 2022 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Ben Wallace (disambiguation)
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Ben Wallace (disambiguation) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a disambiguation page which either
- disambiguates only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic);
- disambiguates zero extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
- is an orphaned redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" that does not target a disambiguation page or page that has a disambiguation-like function.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Limasene Teatu
Hi I see you deleted content from Limasene Teatu which was a bare list of education and career events with dates. The material was, however, sourced. I haven't looked at the sources given. The material you deleted may also have been copy-and-paste copyvio, which would be an additional reason beyond WP:MOS to delete it. But I think it would be good to recuperate some of the detail of the content in WP style. I don't have time to do this right now, but wanted to mention it to you partly as a reminder to have a look again myself! Best, Dsp13 (talk) 10:38, 13 June 2022 (UTC)
DYK for Benjamin Wallace
On 13 June 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Benjamin Wallace, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Benjamin Wallace wrote a book about wine bottles allegedly owned by Thomas Jefferson? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Benjamin Wallace. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Benjamin Wallace), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
