Categories in AFC submissions[edit]

AFC submissions should not have "live" categories. By longstanding convention, categories in AFC submissions are deactivated by putting a colon right before the word "Category".

When a submission is accepted, the accepting reviewer will use a tool that automatically finds and removes these colons, making the categories "live."

I have restored the colons to the categories in Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Jeremy Raymond (actor). Please do not remove them again. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 04:16, 20 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Talkback[edit]

Hello, Ug5151. You have new messages at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bill Meyer (artist).
Message added 17:22, 18 November 2013 (UTC). You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

Your AfD nomination doesn't contain a rationale for deletion, and it may be closed unless you qualify why the article should be deleted from the encyclopedia. Northamerica1000(talk) 17:22, 18 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

FAC[edit]

Hello. I see you opposed at Protogalaxy which of course you are more than entitled to do. However, your reasons given appear not to fall in line with any of the the criteria. Please note that the length of an article is irrelevant when it comes to FAC, as illustrated by this and, on the flip side this. Many thanks! CassiantoTalk 11:10, 1 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Ug,
Thank you for the compliment on my writing of the ProtoGalaxy article. You wrote that you opposed because of the game's notability. Do you intend to nominate the article for deletion? Four of the article's sources have been determined to be unreliable and I have added them to the relevant table and removed them from the article.
Neelix (talk) 20:03, 10 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
What's up Neelix?
The article itself is very well written and is also a Good article. Not because of this do I have any intention to nominate the article for deletion, it's just the article has been ignored by many reliable critics, but many people have played the game and if they were to look for more information on the game, they could just look at this article. There are also many other games like this, such as Space Engineers specifically in the indie genre. I feel that most indie game articles can stay as long as lots of people play it, not just by the critics.
The article does however, have some issues. I tagged source 10 as a dead link as it goes no where. IGN hasn't shown much interest to the game. There aren't way too many review scores, and reviews of the game from major game review sites are limited.
Other than that, the article is very well written and just needs a little more work. It isn't a featured article however, but I enjoyed reading it.
Thanks, Ug5151 (talk) 22:45, 10 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article Deadly 30 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Doesn't meet WP:NVG

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hey do like Baseball[edit]

Ug5151 Do you like baseball. How is your favorite player, team. Tylkrby767 (talk) 17:20, 12 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Tylkrby What's up. My favorite team is the Tampa Bay Rays. I could pick Ben Zobrist or Wil Myers, David Price or Alex Cobb, but it's obvious I'm gonna choose Evan Longoria. He's the best 3B in baseball and probably like 5th best player overall.

P.S. Sorry we took Wil Myers from ya guys, but you still have James Shields.
