Turkish Croatia merger proposal
It is proposed that Turkish Croatia (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs) be merged with Bosanska Krajina (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)
I wish to invite editors to give their input on proposal in merger discussion at Talk page Bosanska Krajina. It would be helpful if editors are willing to express their neutral POV, especially since discussion is already afflicted with involved editor(s) WP:CANVASING, resulting in inputs from WP:Single-purpose accounts.--౪ Santa ౪99° 15:14, 9 September 2019 (UTC)

Call for portal maintainers
Are there any editors from this WikiProject willing to maintain Portal:Politics? The Portals guideline requires that portals be maintained, and as a result numerous portals have been recently been deleted via MfD largely because of lack of maintenance. Let me know either way, and thanks, UnitedStatesian (talk) 00:49, 19 September 2019 (UTC)
Problem with political party templates that use <nowiki> and {{Graph:Chart}}
Hello. There is a compatibility problem between many (all?) of these political party colour templates and {{Graph:Chart}}. Please see Template talk:Graph:Chart#Problem with <nowiki> and this template. 202.159.169.45 (talk) 03:13, 25 September 2019 (UTC)
External links update
After discussions spread over the last couple of years, we have finally updated Wikipedia:External links#Links in lists with some new advice about how to format external links in some stand-alone lists. This format is not mandatory, but it may be helpful in some cases. Please feel free to try it out in pages that you think are appropriate, and leave feedback on the guideline's talk page. Thanks, WhatamIdoing (talk) 23:09, 25 September 2019 (UTC)

Infobox Political Party "merger of"
Hi, I've noticed that some political party pages use the "Merger of" field in the infobox to describe mergers that happened well after the party's foundation (e.g. Conservative Party (UK), Vetëvendosje). Is this appropriate? Should this information be removed from the infobox (and added to the article where missing)? Should there be a new field in the infobox for later mergers? Request for information on WP1.0 web tool
Hello and greetings from the maintainers of the WP 1.0 Bot! As you may or may not know, we are currently involved in an overhaul of the bot, in order to make it more modern and maintainable. As part of this process, we will be rewriting the web tool that is part of the project. You might have noticed this tool if you click through the links on the project assessment summary tables.
We'd like to collect information on how the current tool is used by....you! How do you yourself and the other maintainers of your project use the web tool? Which of its features do you need? How frequently do you use these features? And what features is the tool missing that would be useful to you? We have collected all of these questions at this Google form where you can leave your response. Walkerma (talk) 04:24, 27 October 2019 (UTC)

Category structure for governors by year assuming office?
I am thinking about creating a category structure indicating the year in which category members were first elected (or otherwise became) governor of a U.S. state, e.g. Category:United States governors taking office in 1990. With 50 states, most having four-year terms and holding gubernatorial elections in even-numbered years, and governors frequently serving two terms (outside of the distinct set of states that limit governors to one consecutive term), the typical subcategory would have about a dozen names for any given even-numbered year, and a handful for odd-numbered years (which might also capture things like dates when a lieutenant governor ascended to the governorship due to the death, resignation, or removal of a sitting governor). Is this worth having? bd2412 T 04:17, 9 November 2019 (UTC)
