North American telephone area code 920 is a state of Wisconsin area code which covers much of eastern Wisconsin, and was created on July 26, 1997, when area code 414 was split, with the northern half becoming the new area code 920. The southern half, which remained 414, was later split into 262 and 414. Beginning in 2014, 920 will be overlaid with area code 274.

A mnemonic device which was utilized by many in the new area code when it was introduced, was to connect it to Green Bay Packer Reggie White's jersey number of 92, then add a zero on the end [1].
