Holly Hobbie and Friends: Christmas Wishes is the second direct-to-DVD movie to feature the Holly Hobbie character. It premiered on November 11, 2006 on Nick Jr., and was released on DVD by Sony Wonder on November 14. A book adaptation from Little Simon (ISBN 1-4169-2796-4), published on October 3rd, was written by Bonnie Pinehurst and illustrated by Kellee Riley.

Holly Hobby helps lady Kelly Deegan go through after her husband died by giving up her Midnight Solo which is the very last song of the Christmas pageant.
