Removing AfD template[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with America's Got Talent (season 10). Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. If this message is in error, please report it.—cyberbot I NotifyOnline 16:01, 13 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

September 2014[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to America's Got Talent (season 8) has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Information icon Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 10:50, 15 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The article Quintavious Johnson has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Ahecht (TALK

Notability of Sons of Serendip[edit]

You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

The article Sons of Serendip has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, individual animal, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. JohnCD (talk) 17:11, 17 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Please read WP:MUSICBIO for what a musical performer or band need to have achieved before they can have a Wikipedia article; and if you are connected with the people or bands you are writing about, read Wikipedia is not about YOU. JohnCD (talk) 17:13, 17 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm AldezD. I noticed that you made changes to articles, List of Academy Awards ceremonies and 87th Academy Awards, but you didn't provide a reliable source. Also, please do not make unconstructive edits, change dashes to hyphens (MOS:DASH) or add placeholders for unreferenced information as you did in these edits: 1, 2. AldezD (talk) 15:36, 20 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Dancing with the Stars (U.S. season 19). Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism. You have repeatedly added an incorrect list of supposedly upcoming episodes to the Ratings section, when that section is only supposed to list episodes as ratings become available, and have now gone so far as to remove an actual, sourced episode rating, which is simply unacceptable. Please stop. Thank you. BlueMoonset (talk) 16:06, 20 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Adrian Romoff requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Dancing with the Stars (U.S. season 19). Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of Google Doodles in 2014, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Spring. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Realis (acrobatic duo), and it appears to include material copied directly from http://imaginerealis.com/bio.html.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. Speedy deletion nomination of Realis (acrobatic duo)[edit]

Hello HarpBasedBand,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Realis (acrobatic duo) for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Dustin (talk) 20:34, 27 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Dancing with the Stars edits[edit]

HarpBasedBand, you've made a couple of edits over the past hours, adding to Dancing with the Stars (U.S. TV series) the names of professionals to the troupe in seasons they weren't pros. However, these have been inaccurate. There is an official group of dancers who are the "troupe", and then there are guest dancers who are brought in for particular numbers. Both Maks and Kym have appeared in some numbers in years that they were not pros, but they were also not members of the troupe that year. The troupe has been a specific group of four or six dancers who appear for an entire season as both extra dancers in the large pieces, and doing various very short transitional numbers into and out of commercials.

This has been a problem with a number of your edits to the various Dancing with the Stars articles: you're adding unsourced and ultimately incorrect information to the articles, which is part of what has people upset. You did it with your Week 4 addition yesterday—the individual week entries show the running order, and since you can't know the running order at this point (even the partners don't know until the live show now that we've gone to one show a week), your posts clearly had no basis in fact. Wikipedia does not work by guess or assumption, it works by verifiable facts from reliable sources. If you continue to make these edits, you will eventually be blocked from editing for a while. If you resume making the same problematic edits after the block expired, you'll be blocked for longer and longer periods.

I think you could be a valuable contributor to Wikipedia, but you not only need to get your information right, but you need to back it up with good source citations. Best of luck going forward, and I hope you take this advice to heart. BlueMoonset (talk) 01:43, 6 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Dancing with the Stars (U.S. season 19). This is your last warning from my part, or I will contact an admin to discuss this issue about you. You have once again added empty content without dances included as you did here. If there is a dance for next week, add the section for week 5 then cite your source. You added empty content for week 5 without any sources or content inside of the table. This is my third time contacting you about this issue, and I am not the only one having an issue. When adding a dance, you have to cite your sources. This is my last warning. If this behavior continues, I will contact an admin (it will be the third notice to admins). Please stop adding empty content. Callmemirela (talk) 02:17, 7 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
