VE issues?

- Hi there PEarley (WMF)!, Well I was going to give VE a test drive and I tried to do a small touchup, but it removed three (''')'s, and the whole text became bold, so I undid the edit because the entire article got messed up. - Oh I see, its still in its beta release so yeah that probably explains the bugs recently. If you look closely at the edit you may notice that the three (''')'s are tampered with and that was something I never touched, I wanted to get rid of the "also" part towards the end of the paragraph. - Yeah, i'm going to be active on the Test-Wiki doing work with VE, I think its time to do some extensive tests with a sample article then report any issues. BTW I heard good comments about UBC, I would go, but I live really really far away, to go to my campus all I have to do is take the train, finish classes and come home, I costs less than boarding :) Prabash.Akmeemana 21:17, 26 June 2013 (UTC)

Adoption
I am available to adopt if you would do me the honors I would much appreciate that. I have been stumbling around here for the past year or so and figure its about time to get serious. I did just start a brand new job two weeks ago so my time here will be sporadic but I am a serious and conscientious editor who takes pride in doing a good job at editing; helping with some minor clean up, adding additional information to different articles when I get the time, fixing disambiguation links, etc... Thanks so much for your offer. PS It appears that the image that I had questions about deleting has been taken care of? (not sure how to link to commons but will try with this link hXXp://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Coffee_Painting_by_Tattoo%27d_Waitress.jpg File:Coffee Painting by Tattoo'd Waitress.jpg I went to check it out and of course not sure if the move to commons and deletion of original has been completely finished. It seems to still be appearing on two different web addresses. If you could take a look that would be great. I look forward to hearing from you and await further instruction. I have examples of the books but don't know about copyright and Commons to upload images.Searching Wikipedia makes it clear the pubisher did a notable amount of publishing hence the number of sources where they (he?) is cited, but there is a lot more to do with links within Wikipedia and extracting some more hard facts. - Oh I see, Faizan its pretty easy to pile up article space edits with AWB; Generate a list with new pages only, set the skip options and check off the following boxes "No Changes are made" and "only minor genfixes" and click save for every edit that goes by, remember to check to see if you are doing it right, and there you go, you can mass up a lot of edits on article space with that. Edit on Philippine National Bank
Hi,
You may have reviewed history of edits on the Philippine National Bank page. The reason for removal is the edit done by user with IP 161.217.43.38 is a direct attack to the institution. The last sentence of what he/she inserted writes "PNB, once and for all, has to settle this issue, abide by the court ruling and return to PHMIC, its rightful money. Boycott PNB."

We need help with vandal patrol training
I appreciate your enthusiasm, but there has been a lot of discussion about NAO clerking on PERM. Admins have to do the same research anyway, and generally will not be guided by NAO. What you are effectively doing with this is turning it into a discussion board. You might find the discussions here, and here of interest. Where we do need a lot of help is adopting some of these users in the ways of effective vandal patrolling - you can help by adding your name as a trainer at the WP:CVUA, and if you need any help in getting started, don't hesitate to ask me (I re-designed the system). Hello. Well I do understand the job of reviewer but I believe it would be difficult for me to make you believe that I do. ;) Let me tell you what I do currently and then you can me tell if thats not what this role expects. Most of my recent contributions are of reverting vandalism but not mere revert. In case I see some info which could be true then I do search of the sources myself and add that piece of info to the article, which also includes removing cn tags. Some of my watched pages are having "pending changes" controls but I dont get to accept those and have to wait till any other reviewer comes and accepts those. Some of the points:
- Stub tag goes below cats
- It's a species article, not genus
- Single line space between sections
- WoRMS page shows synonyms. What you are writing is a species article so a taxonomy list with a list of species doesn't make sense.
- You are encouraged to make synonym redirects to prevent others from accidentally recreating the article.

As my original addition stated, both Gary and Lawrence (his adoptive father) confirm this information, so I'm unsure why the addition was removed. Nobody is seeking to profit from this information, and despite the name of my production company, I have no intention of turning this into a project of any kind.
I have been trying to learn how to post sources and, more specifically, how to cite their affirmations, so any guidance you may be able to provide me would be appreciated.

- Done user talk pages on my watchlist are removed, I came back from shredding a 55 page backlog at WP:AFC so I'm just chilling at the moment, WT has chosen his path and I don't want to join that path, so I'm going back to article space dont worry, anyways 60% of my 7000 edits are article space :)

Please tell me how far along you are in your mentorship coursework? What can I do to help you reach your goals?" In addition, I was hoping for some personal insights beyond what you reveal on your user page, although that is optional.
- A really important skill for a Wikipedia editor is to read no more and no less into a text than what the original writer intended. This is true when summarizing and paraphrasing sources while creating and expanding articles, and is also true when interacting successfully with other editors. - Yeah, a bit of a warning when using it on an iPad... I haven't tried it on the computer, but just expect slight lag and possible browser crashes when using it on an iPad... A suggestion: when using it, always stay in the snuggle tab while the page is loading. - It seems you are trying to do a cut and paste move, which is highly not reccomended... It looks like its already done, so we can't do anything now but to call an admin to do a history merge. Next time it would gladly be appreciated if you do a normal page move by clicking the dropdown arrow beside "history", need anymore help, comment again, I would gladly go indepth with this. - Why not move it back to the AFC area? you can keep working on it there, I now see the mistake you did... it appears that you created a redirect from the real article name to the wrong name. - Hey, don't mention it! I'm always glad to have a nice editor here on WP. When it comes to citing PDF's its fine, make sure the document is about the topic and is a reliable source pointing out the info. There's nothing wrong with citing a PDF! the same applies to Ebooks and other online book databases. Remember an article goes up for deletion if it violates wikipedia guidelines or meets any of the described Deletion Criterion, citing PDF's do not mean the article will be deleted.. not at all! I am not one of the people who decline afc's for minor formatting problems, but I'm a little surprised you accepted the article on Brigid Harrington in the state it was in at the time. I've now spent considerable time trying to make it look like a WP article, and I'm not yet finished. - Notable, yes and at the time of review, it was the primary concern and the author clearly fixed that reference issue, I guess, but this is a major formatting problem, infact there should be a user infobox instead of a table, this formatting issue comes in mind for the next time I review an article, this is the second mistake I made in two months so I apologize for having to waste your time cleaning up my errors constantly.
