This is the talk page for Miniapolis (who is proud to be a Wikipedia editor) and is in fond memory of Corinne, one of WP's very best copyeditors. Although I can be reached by email, I prefer keeping discussions on-wiki as much as possible. Due to time constraints, I no longer accept direct copyedit requests; please list articles requiring copyediting for GAN, FAC and the like on the Guild of Copy Editors request page (and consider pitching in with the GOCE, which can always use more help!) Since I take the occasional wikibreak, feel free to undo any administrative action I've taken as you see fit.

It took me a minute to realize that you wanted me to check your copyedit (I think). I didn't have time to check it closely, but some of your changes improved the article; others, not so much. You seem to have introduced (or increased) a POV into an article which requires a deft touch. Also, redirects don't need to be piped; see WP:NOTBROKEN and WP:WTW. Request for Guidance on Draft:Clever Hopes Copyvio

Hey there- I came across an interesting set of circumstances when reviewing a draft, and I'm not entirely sure how to proceed. The page had previous copyvio, but the site it took from is on the spam blacklist, so I can't tag it (or at least don't know how to). You can view the CopyPatrol log [1], as it can supply the site. Administrator elections are a proposed new process for selecting administrators, offering an alternative to requests for adminship (RfA). The first trial election will take place in October 2024, with candidate sign-up from October 8 to 14, a discussion phase from October 22 to 24, and SecurePoll voting from October 25 to 31. For questions or to help out, please visit the talk page at Wikipedia talk:Administrator elections.
Following a discussion, the speedy deletion reason "File pages without a corresponding file" has been moved from criterion G8 to F2. This does not change what can be speedily deleted.
A request for comment is open to discuss whether there is a consensus to have an administrator recall process.
