Beni Takemata edit

Hi 咽頭べさ. I appreciate your attempt at trying to improve the article Beni Takemata, but I've reverted the changes you made. The content you added was completely unsourced and most of it looked like a machine translation from the Japanese Wikipdia article about Takemata. English Wikipedia's standards for content related to living persons are quite strict (perhaps even stricter than those of Japanese Wikipedia) and such content is expected to comply with WP:BLP. Moreover, machine translations of other language Wikipedia articles into English are generally frowned upon because the quality of the English tends to be quite poor as explained in WP:MACHINETRANSLATION and because of the copyright issues explained in WP:TFOLWP. Even though Wikipedia's licensing allows unrestrictied re-use of its content, there are still some requirements that need to be met to comply with said licensing.

In addition, some of the information you added was already in the article, and thus redundant. Other information was rather trivial per WP:NOTEVERYTHING and not the kind of content considered OK for an English Wikipedia article. You even added a section heading written in Japanese to the article by mistake. For sure, the article can be further expanded, but it would be better to do so slowly and in accordance with relevant English Wikipedia policies and guidelines. If you'd like to post some ideas on Talk:Beni Takemata for other editors to review to see whether such information can be properly supported by reliable sources and also to give others a chance to check for English grammar and spelling errors, then feel free to do so. -- Marchjuly (talk) 08:06, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, everything you add here needs a reliable source. Being a member of a political party is not a claim to notability. Subjects need to have gotten significant coverage in independent sources. I have also reverted your addition to Huang Shisong as it was unencyclopedic, unsourced, and not even about the subject of the article. What was the reason for adding this to the article of an astronomer? How did she win an award that only existed three years after she died? Why does the article start "born in 1253"? Why can't I find any mentions of her in the cast listings of the movies that are listed? @Þjarkur:, 1253 is may be Burmese year "၁၂၅၃". He/She is creating articles with Wiki machine translation tool. He knows nothing about English and Grammar. Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to Mon people. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. 咽頭べさ, editors (including me) have previously advised you against using machine translations, but you appear to be using them still. Your command of English is not good enough yet and you can't expect other editors to rewrite your articles. As an example, "unauthorized country" is not a term that exists in English. Wikipedia is not suitable to talk but I want to show you how I got. Please go to SEAlang and look for "ကွေန် ၚါ်" and "တြုံ", this is how Myanmar spells. We use SEAlang for main entry because Myanmar has Mon state and mainly speaks the language. I have to said my words again and again. "Please try to understand "Wikipedia Policies and Guidelines" especially Wikipedia:Image use policy and Commons' Licensing Policy". The files you pointed out are under public domain in Myanmar according to The Copyright Act of 2019 of Myanmar. If you believe the file should not be on Wikipedia/Commons, please do a deletion request. As I said before, I am only a nominator for file deletion and what I do to your files is according to Commons' Licensing policy and not from ethnic point. There is no policy that files related to one ethnic should not exist on Commons or Wikipedia. You always argue me from an ethnic point of view (like this and this). I also advise you to recheck my contribution about your accused flag issue. I just changed the file according to the caption Current flag of the Mon State that you wrote before.
