The December 2013 – January 2014 AfC Backlog Elimination Drive will take place from December 1, 2013 to January 31, 2014. Before joining this elimination drive, please make sure you have read through this entire page. If you have questions about the information on that page an/or unsure about some info, please do not join this drive until you fully understand everything. If you have any questions, please leave a message on this page's talk page, Mdann52 (talk · contribs)'s or Technical 13 (talk · contribs)'s talk page.

How to contribute

Before joining this drive and start to review articles, please make sure you have read this page and have no questions. To join this drive, please add your name under to the "Participants" section below after you have reviewed at least one article. All reviews must be completed after 00:00 (UTC) on December 1st, 2013 and before 0:00 (UTC) on Feburary 1st, 2014. Reviews started outside of those parameters do not count.

To find an article to review for creation, go to this page. If you see that an article in the submission page that has previously been declined by another reviewer, you may still review the article for a point.

Scoring

• The scoring system is as follows:
  • 1 point is earned per review.
  • 1 point is earned per re-review on other user's drive pages.
  • A bonus point is earned when you decline a submission as a copyright violation (WP:COPYVIO), and the page is then deleted by an admin.
  • 2 points are lost when two users fail a user's review. As the review has already earnt one point, this counts as a loss of one point.

Reviewing user reviews

Teamwork Barnstar

To ensure quality remains priority, reviews of reviews will be conducted at random times. If a review is found to be not done properly or done poorly, the review will be deducted 2 points. Any user may review other user's reviews if they wish.

If a review is failed a third user shall review the same article and either pass or fail the article. If both users fail the review the aformentioned two points will be deducted from the users score. If the secondary reviewer passes the article no points will be deducted.

WikiProject Articles for creation Backlog Elimination Drive

Hello, WikiProject Articles for creation:

WikiProject AFC is holding a two month long Backlog Elimination Drive!
The goal of this drive is to eliminate the backlog of unreviewed articles. The drive is running from December 1st, 2013 – January 31st, 2014.

Awards will be given out for all reviewers participating in the drive in the form of barnstars at the end of the drive.
There is a backlog of over 2900 articles, so start reviewing articles! Visit the drive's page and help out!

A new version of our AfC helper script has been released! It includes many bug fixes, new improvements and features, code enhancements, and more. If you want to see a full list of changes, visit the changelog. Please report bugs and feature requests there, too! Thanks. ~~~~
