Khajwa is a large town/village in Chhatarpur district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, 11 km (6.8 mi) from Khajuraho, 5 km (3.1 mi) from Rajnagar and 38 km (24 mi) from district headquarters Chhatarpur.
Geography
Khajwa[1] is located at 24°55′00″N 79°55′32″E / 24.9167586°N 79.9256397°E[2] it has average elevation of 226 metres (741.47 feet). The total surface area of khajwa 30.2 km² ( 11.7 square miles).
Demographics
The Khajwa town/Village has population of 5892 of which 3149 are males while 2743 are females as per population
census 2011.
